Slow Roast Records is an independent record label based out of Miami, Florida, USA.
Slow Roast Records was founded in 2009 by the 3x DMC World ChampionDJ Craze and Jake Stanczak otherwise known as Kill The Noise. The Miami New Time's acknowledges the record label's starting to make big waves in the independent scene in recent years saying, "After a couple of years of carefully cooking up the right beats, choosing the right artists, and prepping the right releases, Craze, Kill the Noise, and their genre-bending label hit it hard in 2013." Until recently, Slow Roast was distributed by their good friends at Fool's Gold Records.
Craze was born in Nicaragua and grew up in Miami where he currently resides. He is known as one of the most accomplished turntablists of all time, having won over a dozen competition titles including a record three consecutive World DMC Championships. Craze also placed second in the 1999 DMC World Team Championships with his group The Allies (alongside fellow DMC World Champions A-Trak and Infamous) who took home the Team Championship the following year. Kill The Noise, also known as Jake Stanczak or Ewun, is an electronic music producer from Rochester, NY currently living and working in Los Angeles, CA. After gaining critical success with his Ewun project, Jake Stanczak delved in to the spacier dubstep realm to create Kill The Noise. Since, he has worked with Deadmau5's label Mau5trap and collaborated with Skrillex on four tracks: "Right on Time" and "Burst" with 12th Planet, "Narcissistic Cannibal" with Korn and "Recess" with Fatman Scoop and Michael Angelakos.
A recording, record, records or the record may mean:
An item or collection of data:
In everyday use and in kinematics, the speed of an object is the magnitude of its velocity (the rate of change of its position); it is thus a scalar quantity. The average speed of an object in an interval of time is the distance travelled by the object divided by the duration of the interval; the instantaneous speed is the limit of the average speed as the duration of the time interval approaches zero.
Like velocity, speed has the dimensions of a length divided by a time; the SI unit of speed is the metre per second, but the most common unit of speed in everyday usage is the kilometre per hour or, in the US and the UK, miles per hour. For air and marine travel the knot is commonly used.
The fastest possible speed at which energy or information can travel, according to special relativity, is the speed of light in a vacuum c = 7008299792458000000♠299792458 metres per second (approximately 7008299722222222222♠1079000000 km/h or 7008299963840000000♠671000000 mph). Matter cannot quite reach the speed of light, as this would require an infinite amount of energy. In relativity physics, the concept of rapidity replaces the classical idea of speed.
DJ Craze (born Aristh Delgado; November 19, 1977), is a Nicaraguan American DJ and record producer who plays hip hop, Miami bass, trap, breaks, dubstep, drum and bass, and practices turntablism. He is the only solo DJ in history to claim the DMC World DJ Championships trophy three times consecutively (1998–2000).
DJ Craze was born in Managua, Nicaragua. At the age of 3, in 1980, he fled the country with his family during the war which lasted throughout the 1980s. Craze and his family moved to San Francisco, California, where they lived for a short while, before moving to Miami, Florida, where he currently resides.
The style of his music carries many of his past musical influences. Initially influenced by the Miami Bass movement when he was younger, Craze has gone on to incorporate elements of hip-hop, drum n bass, and breaks in his turntable routines. Recently, Craze has shifted his emphasis to DJ'ing and producing drum n bass with his own record label "Cartel".
Craze released his first album in 1999, Crazee Musick, and a second in 2002, Scratch nerds. He also released an album called D-Day in 2002 with his turntable crew, The Allies.
Josh Winkler (born July 4, 1977), better known as DJ Klever is a prominent American turntablism and 2 time US Disco Mix Club champion. He has toured across the world and resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Since early 2014 he has been rapper Yelawolf's touring DJ, he later started working with the rapper and signed to his record label Slumerican. He is involved in the rapper's second studio album Love Story, and has appeared to most of the single's music videos.

For the next installment of "A Moment With" we spoke with the Miami-based DJ Craze. Beginning with his now legendary 3x World DMC Championship run, he has arguably set the stage for the art of modern turntablism. A proponent of #realDJing and pushing the limits of DJ technology, he recently helped bring A-Trak's 'Goldie Awards' battle to fruition.
