Despite the so called “high alert” which was sounded by the State police administration in the wake of surgical strikes carried out by India across Line of Control recently, security lapses were noticed in many big shopping malls in the capital city of Bhubaneswar exposing the reality in the ground. The sting operation which was conducted by PrameyaNews7, a leading regional TV channel in the State, exposed that shopping malls like Big Bazaar, Pantaloons have no adequate security measures or any system to even trace a man carrying a gun with him.
