It's a story of Mumtaz (Tabu) who loses her parents in riots & communal violence. Her uncle is the only family member left to fend for her. She decides to go to Mumbai to start a new life. She gets a temporary job as a bar dancer in Chandni bar, with which she is totally uncomfortable. But, she has to do this until her mama finds a job. After few weeks, she becomes friends with the co-bar dancers. But as she get a hang of her new life, there is a shock in store for her. She gets raped by her Mamu. This devastes her life completely & hence she looks forward eagerly to go to Chandni bar every night to avoid her Mamu. There she meets Potya(Atul Kulkarni), an underworld gangster. Could this be a new beginning for Mumtaz?

Traffic Signal Hindi Full Movie is about Silsila is the "manager" of one traffic signal, that is he collects the "hafta" (protection tax) from each signal squatter plying his trade. There's Tsunami, a little scavenger boy, there's Rani - a Gujrati girl selling ethnic clothes on the sidewalk, and there's Dominic - a drug addict and the prostitute who feels for him. Then there's Silsila himself, who's an orphan, and reports to Jaffer bhai the local goon. Jaffer bhai in turn reports to Haji the leader of the local mafia. And the hafta, from each traffic signal and territory Haji controls, seeps upward to the politicians. Life is routine, until Silsila and Jaffer bhai get caught up in a chain of events which threatens the very source of their livelihood - the traffic signal itself, and Silsila must either remain mute with fear or protest

Parag Dixit (Neil Nitin Mukesh) is living a happy life with his widow mother, Alka (Navani Parihar) and is doing well at his job in Max Finance. Things go for a toss, when Parag is been convicted with a false drugs case for which he is sent to jail. He is soon promoted as a regional manager for Max Finance and is again living a happy life. But once again he gets arrested, for firing at a Police Inspector in Bandra and in possession of narcotics. His friend Keshav (Jignesh Joshi), in this mishap is seriously injured and taken to the hospital in a condition of coma. Parag is sent to jail and is in a room with no place to move. Parag's girlfriend, Mansi (Mughda Godse) and Alka, hire Advocate Harish Bhatiya (Sandeep Mehta) to fight for a bail, but the judge does not approve of it as the case is very serious. In jail, Parag comes across people either convicted or waiting for trial. He also comes in contact with Abdul Ghani, Kabir Malik, Galib Suratwala, Nawab, Bababhai, etc. Parag again trials for bail but his bail appeal is rejected by the judge. Months pass by, and Parag is yet in jail, suffering for a crime which he has not been involved in. Keshav starts recovering while Parag, with all the witnesses and evidences against him, faces trial. Will Parag be able to prove his innocence, or will be in jail for a much longer period of time? Will Alka and Mansi manage to get Parag out from the jail?

Madhur Bhandarkar
Madhur Bhandarkar (born 26 August 1968) is an Indian film director, script writer, and producer. He made his directorial debut with Trishakti and went on to direct several critically and commercially successful films.
The drama film Chandni Bar (2001), won him the National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues. Bhandarkar received the National Film Awards for the Best Feature Film and Best Director for Page 3 (2005) and Traffic Signal (2007) respectively. The drama film Fashion (2008) garnered him several accolades including Filmfare Awards nominations for Best Director and Best Screenplay.
Madhur was recently invited as the special Guest of Honour for the First International Yoga Day celebrations at the United Nations in New York on June 21. In 2016, Bhandarkar was awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award, by the Government of India.

Career
Madhur Bhandarkar worked in a video cassette library in Khar, a suburb of Mumbai. This gave him access to a large collection of movies and he studied film-making through it.

Chandni Bar | Tabu | Madhur Bhandarkar
It's a story of Mumtaz (Tabu) who loses her parents in riots & communal violence. Her uncle is the only family member left to fend for her. She decides to go to Mumbai to start a new life. She gets a temporary job as a bar dancer in Chandni bar, with which she is totally uncomfortable. But, she has to do this until her mama finds a job. After few weeks, she becomes friends with the co-bar dancers. But as she get a hang of her new life, there is a shock in store for her. She gets raped by her Mamu. Parag Dixit (Neil Nitin Mukesh) is living a happy life with his widow mother, Alka (Navani Parihar) and is doing well at his job in Max Finance. Things go for a toss, when Parag is been convicted with a false drugs case for which he is sent to jail. He is soon promoted as a regional manager for Max Finance and is again living a happy life. His friend Keshav (Jignesh Joshi), in this mishap is seriously injured and taken to the hospital in a condition of coma. Parag is sent to jail and is in a room with no place to move. Parag's girlfriend, Mansi (Mughda Godse) and Alka, hire Advocate Harish Bhatiya (Sandeep Mehta) to fight for a bail, but the judge does not approve of it as the case is very serious. In jail, Parag comes across people either convicted or waiting for trial. He also comes in contact with Abdul Ghani, Kabir Malik, Galib Suratwala, Nawab, Bababhai, etc. Parag again trials for bail but his bail appeal is rejected by the judge. Months pass by, and Parag is yet in jail, suffering for a crime which he has not been involved in. Keshav starts recovering while Parag, with all the witnesses and evidences against him, faces trial. Will Parag be able to prove his innocence, or will be in jail for a much longer period of time? Will Alka and Mansi manage to get Parag out from the jail?

His friend Keshav (Jignesh Joshi), in this mishap is seriously injured and taken to the hospital in a condition of coma. Parag is sent to jail and is in a room with no place to move. Parag's girlfriend, Mansi (Mughda Godse) and Alka, hire Advocate Harish Bhatiya (Sandeep Mehta) to fight for a bail, but the judge does not approve of it as the case is very serious. In jail, Parag comes across people either convicted or waiting for trial. He also comes in contact with Abdul Ghani, Kabir Malik, Galib Suratwala, Nawab, Bababhai, etc. Parag again trials for bail but his bail appeal is rejected by the judge. Months pass by, and Parag is yet in jail, suffering for a crime which he has not been involved in. Keshav starts recovering while Parag, with all the witnesses and evidences against him, faces trial. Will Parag be able to prove his innocence, or will be in jail for a much longer period of time? Will Alka and Mansi manage to get Parag out from the jail?
