www.Cars.co.za - In this modern age of niche-filling car design, it is quite odd that only two premium brands are playing in the MPV segment. Mercedes Benz has found relative success with their B Class, especially the current 2nd generation which is a vast improvement on their first attempt.
And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, there must be some blushing behind all the moustaches at Mercedes HQ, as BMW have broken with tradition to launch a B Class rival, in the form of the front wheel drive 2 Series Active Tourer.
We managed to wrangle an example of each into our studio, and gave them both a thorough shaking down. The models featured in this video are the BMW 218i and the Mercedes Benz B200.
We’ve covered everything from engine power, boot space and load space, the cost of the extras (brace yourself) and there’s a thorough tour of the interiors.
And then at the very end, we pick a winner…

- Motor je previše bučan u odnosu na konkurente,
- Zvučna izolacija u kabini bi mogla da bude i bolja,
- Po malo lenj automatski menjač.
LIČNI UTISAK:
* Mercedes B klase me je osvojio na prvi pogled svojim izgledom, dodir sa ručkom i vratima zatim ulazak u kabinu Benz bato, nema šale, stvarno su u Mercedesu majstori da vam stvore utisak-iluziju da vozite neuništiv i prestižan auto, na žalost taj utisak nije potrajao dugo, posle samo par desetina metara shvatio sam Reno Scenic druge a naročito treće generacije su bolji automobili i verovatno najbolji u MPV segmentu, nekako lakše idu, tiši i živahniji motori, kabina i šasija kod Scenika vam ostavlja takođe utisak čvrstine i kvaliteta, Scenic ima i više prostora unutra kako za putnike napred tako i za one pozadi, tri sedišta u drugom redu... sve u svemu Reno Secenic mi je bio interesantniji za vožnju, da ne spominjem što je Scenic III dosta jeftiniji. Bez obzira na sve kada bih mogao da biram između B klase i Scenika lični izbor bi bio Mercedes, meni on najbolje leži ali objektivno nije bolji MPV.

Mercedes-Benz will mit der neuen B-Klasse wieder mal ein Zeichen für die Sicherheit und für die Marken-Philosophie setzen. Vom ersten Auftritt beim Handel am 29. November dieses Jahres an werden alle neuen B-Klassen mit dem Collision Prevention Assist Plus ausgestattet. Das Plus steht dabei für den entscheidenden Fortschritt. Der bisherige Collision Prevention Assist (CPA) warnt erst optisch und dann auch akustisch bei zu dichtem Auffahren. Bremst der Fahrer dann, sorgte der Assist für die passende Bremsleistung bis hin zur Vollbremsung. Mercedes-Benz hat mit einer Auswertung von Daten des Statistischen Bundesamt in Wiesbaden, ermittelt, dass B-Klassen mit dem CPA 14 Prozent weniger Auffahrunfälle verursachen.

Test 2015 Mercedes B-Klasse: Wer hätte das gedacht?
Zum Fahrbericht: http://auto-presse.de/autonews.php?newsid=247672 Mercedes-Benz will mit der neuen B-Klasse wieder mal ein Zeichen für die Sicherheit und für die Marken-Philosophie setzen. Vom ersten Auftritt beim Handel am 29. November dieses Jahres an werden alle neuen B-Klassen mit dem Collision Prevention Assist Plus ausgestattet. Das Plus steht dabei für den entscheidenden Fortschritt. Der bisherige Collision Prevention Assist (CPA) warnt erst optisch und dann auch akustisch bei zu dichtem Auffahren. Bremst der Fahrer dann, sorgte der Assist für die passende Bremsleistung bis hin zur Vollbremsung. Mercedes-Benz hat mit einer Auswertung von Daten des Statistischen Bundesamt in Wiesbaden, ermittelt, dass B-Klassen mit dem CPA 14 Prozent weniger Auffahrunfälle verursachen.

www.Cars.co.za - In this modern age of niche-filling car design, it is quite odd that only two premium brands are playing in the MPV segment. Mercedes Benz has found relative success with their B Class, especially the current 2nd generation which is a vast improvement on their first attempt.
And if imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, there must be some blushing behind all the moustaches at Mercedes HQ, as BMW have broken with tradition to launch a B Class rival, in the form of the front wheel drive 2 Series Active Tourer.
We managed to wrangle an example of each into our studio, and gave them both a thorough shaking down. The models featured in this video are the BMW 218i and the Mercedes Benz B200.
We’ve covered everything from engine power, boot space and load space, the cost of the extras (brace yourself) and there’s a thorough tour of the interiors.

* Mercedes B klase me je osvojio na prvi pogled svojim izgledom, dodir sa ručkom i vratima zatim ulazak u kabinu Benz bato, nema šale, stvarno su u Mercedesu majstori da vam stvore utisak-iluziju da vozite neuništiv i prestižan auto, na žalost taj utisak nije potrajao dugo, posle samo par desetina metara shvatio sam Reno Scenic druge a naročito treće generacije su bolji automobili i verovatno najbolji u MPV segmentu, nekako lakše idu, tiši i živahniji motori, kabina i šasija kod Scenika vam ostavlja takođe utisak čvrstine i kvaliteta, Scenic ima i više prostora unutra kako za putnike napred tako i za one pozadi, tri sedišta u drugom redu... sve u svemu Reno Secenic mi je bio interesantniji za vožnju, da ne spominjem što je Scenic III dosta jeftiniji. Bez obzira na sve kada bih mogao da biram između B klase i Scenika lični izbor bi bio Mercedes, meni on najbolje leži ali objektivno nije bolji MPV.

Mercedes-Benz will mit der neuen B-Klasse wieder mal ein Zeichen für die Sicherheit und für die Marken-Philosophie setzen. Vom ersten Auftritt beim Handel am 29. November dieses Jahres an werden alle neuen B-Klassen mit dem Collision Prevention Assist Plus ausgestattet. Das Plus steht dabei für den entscheidenden Fortschritt. Der bisherige Collision Prevention Assist (CPA) warnt erst optisch und dann auch akustisch bei zu dichtem Auffahren. Bremst der Fahrer dann, sorgte der Assist für die passende Bremsleistung bis hin zur Vollbremsung. Mercedes-Benz hat mit einer Auswertung von Daten des Statistischen Bundesamt in Wiesbaden, ermittelt, dass B-Klassen mit dem CPA 14 Prozent weniger Auffahrunfälle verursachen.
