The Kingdom of Prussia was a German kingdom and historic state originating out of the Duchy of Prussia and the Margraviate of Brandenburg, and centered on the region of Prussia. For centuries, the House of Hohenzollern ruled Prussia, successfully expanding its size by way of an unusually well-organised and effective army. Prussia shaped the history of Germany, with its capital in Berlin after 1451. In 1871, German states united in creating the German Empire under Prussian leadership. In November 1918, the monarchies were abolished and the nobility lost its political power. Prussia was effectively abolished in 1932, and officially abolished in 1947. no spamming or negative comments Subscribe! No really, please, Subscribe :)

The Königgrätzer Marsch (AM II, 134 (AM II, 195)), also known as Der Königgrätzer or Der Königgrätzer Marsch, is one of the most famous German military marches, composed in 1866 by Johann Gottfried Piefke in commemoration of the Battle of Königgrätz, the decisive battle of the Austro-Prussian War, in which the Kingdom of Prussia defeated the Austrian Empire. In Piefke's most successful arrangement of the Königgrätzer Marsch, another march, Der Hohenfriedberger (commemorating the Battle of Hohenfriedberg), is used as a trio. The commonly played version (AM II, 195) is set as an infantry march, while an alternate adaptation is arranged as a cavalry galop (AM III, 228). Piefke also composed the "Königgrätzer mit anderem Trio" ("Kön...
The Kingdom of Prussia (German: Königreich Preußen) was a German kingdom that existed between 1701 and 1918 and included parts of present-day Germany, Poland, Russia, Lithuania, Denmark, Belgium and the Czech Republic. It was the driving force behind the unification of Germany in 1871 and the creation of the German Empire. Although it took its name from the region called Prussia, it was based in Brandenburg, where its capital was Berlin. Prussia was a great power since its foundation as a kingdom, though it became a military power as a duchy under Frederick William, known as "The Great Elector". This video is targeted to blind users. Prussian districts were administrative units in the former Kingdom of Prussia, part of the German Empire from 1871 to 1918, and its successor state, the Free State of Prussia, similar to a county or a shire. They were established in the course of the Stein-Hardenberg Reforms from 1815 to 1818 at an intermediate level, between the higher provinces and the government districts , and the lower municipal governments .Then part of a modern and highly effective public administration structure, they served as a model for the present-day districts of Germany In the aftermath of World War I, the Prussian districts of Eupen and Malmedy were annexed by Belgium in 1925, thereby causing the presence of a German-speaking minority. ---Image-Copyright-and-Permission--- License: Public domain ---Image-Copy...

Welcome to ShenPlays Prussia in March Of The Eagles, another fun Paradox Interactive game that covers a much shorter time period than normal: the Napoleonic Wars. Today we begin our journey as the delightful kingdom of Prussia, intent on uniting the other german states under one flag, as it should be. It is somewhat disappointing that there are no national decisions for Prussia, so there isn't currently a way to create Germany. Perhaps that will be added in the future?
