Soon, Vashi school to get its own butterfly garden

Next week, on October 21, the first school Butterfly Garden will be inaugurated at Sacred Heart School in Vashi. An effort by two organisations, Ladybird Environmental Consultancy (LEC) and United Way Mumbai (UWM), the garden will host a number of nectar and larval foodplants that will attract the winged species. Complete with signages, the teachers will be instructed on using the garden to explain the species to students....
