This Is Why They`re Called Boneheads: To Paraphrase Kyle McKee, Marleau is Fat, Lazy and Stupid

During the period in which Kyle McKee was in the Calgary Remand Centre awaiting his trial for attempted murder and other charges (he plead guilty to possessing bomb making materials, while the more serious charges were dropped by the Crown citing insufficient evidence), there didn't seem to be any dissension between himself and John Marleau. Considering one could argue that Marleau was the reason why McKee found himself in detention - it was Marleau's ex whom he had been allegedly harassing who was one of the targets of the attack - it's surprising that McKee wasn't just a little unhappy with his porcine friend.

Perhaps there just might be a bit more tension between the two than previously stated publicly?

Cobb Update: The "Podblanc Team" Responds

More on the curious case of Crusty the Clown. Er... we mean Craig Cobb.

Our most recent series of article discussing Cobb were as a result of an anonymous commenter who stated that Cobb had been arrested at the Vancouver Public Library. At the time we had no idea why he was arrested, though we have our guesses. A second article, which we found at another blog, stated that Cobb had reportedly been released.

We're not too happy that we can't confirm or deny the reports we've received. We're pretty proud of our abilities to dig up information when the mood really suits us, but so far we've been stymied. However, we do have the satisfaction in knowing that we have more information than even his friends and allies have.

The following comes from Cobb's Podblanc which, mercifully, is offline once again. In the email, the "Podblanc team" provides the reasons why the website is down, as well as giving voice to their concern about Cobb's whereabouts:

There is a chance that the "team" is nothing more than Cobb himself and the request for a "significant donation" is because he's currently unemployed, but then to assume that would make us cynical and we are not at all cynical.

Terry Tremaine's Motions Dismissed

Not surprisingly, Doug Christie argued that the Lemire decision regarding Section 13 should be considered in dismissing contempt charges against Terry Tremaine. The judge, however, had none of it.

Harrington writes in response:

This particular motion for show cause is limited to cease and desist. The Lemire decision relates to other aspects such as the imposition of a fine, and the Section 13 of the Canadian Human Rights Act insofar as it relates to cease and desist orders was upheld by the Taylor decision to which I just made reference.

So Harrington echoes what many of us have suspected might happen; the penalty provision will be struck down, however the rest of Section 13 will remain in force.

Cobb Released?

We never did find out why he was detained in the first place, but according to an update on Lady Liberty's Lamp, Craig Cobb has been released based on a report from a reader placing Cobb at "the Carnegie."

Online hate leads to two arrests

Provincial police made two arrests this week in cases in which the Internet became the conduit of hate propaganda.

On Tuesday, officers of the Surete du Quebec arrested a 17-year-old man in Sept Iles who was allegedly using a Facebook page to disseminate hate against specific ethnic communities.

On Thursday, they arrested a 28-year-old in Trois Rivieres who was allegedly using You-Tube videos to propagate his messages. Officers found a Nazi flag, hate literature and some pot in the man's home.

The second arrest was prompted by a complaint filed by a citizen in January.

Human rights lawyer Richard Warman said it was only a matter of time before hate propaganda moved to popular sites like Facebook and YouTube.

"Social media have become an essential part of people's lives and hate-mongers are using that forum," Warman said.

"Statistics show that there has been a recent spike in hate crimes, but that might also mean there has been more reporting of it."

Warman said the usual targets are showing up in online hate sites: Jews, Muslims, blacks, gays and lesbians.

The law states that anyone wilfully propagating hatred can be sentenced to a maximum of two years in jail.

Warman said he would like to see Facebook and YouTube monitor the pages under their names more carefully. Facebook does have a report button for users to flag particularly offensive material, but with an estimated half a billion users, some questionable sites slip through.

"If a service provider knows that a site like this exists, they should be held accountable for not taking steps to stop it," Warman said.

He said if a citizen comes across a hate propaganda site, they should contact the police, in particular the SQ hate crimes unit.

"In my dealings with the SQ, they have been very solid," Warman said.

David Castonguay, a 28 year old male from Rivière-du-Loup, has been charged with at least two counts of spreading hate propaganda via Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and other websites.

«Ce genre d'accusation est très rare. Je pratique depuis 20 ans et c'est la première fois que je vois ça», explique la procureure du ministère public, Me Liliane Laforest. Quelques minutes auparavant, l'avocate avait requis devant le tribunal que Castonguay soit accusé d'avoir fomenté la haine contre des groupes identifiables, comme les juifs, les musulmans ou les personnes de race noire. En fait, on définit par «groupes identifiables» toute section de la population qui se distingue par sa couleur, sa race, sa religion, son origine ethnique ou son orientation sexuelle. Le juge a acquiescé.

«Le jeune homme utilisait le site de partage vidéo YouTube, de même que Twitter, Facebook et autres sites Internet pour susciter de la haine à l'endroit de différentes communautés et minorités visibles», ajoute l'agent Claude Ross de la Sûreté du Québec (SQ), précisant que l'individu est connu des milieux policiers.

C'est un internaute qui, en début d'année, a signalé aux policiers ces propos haineux découverts dans Internet, ce qui a déclenché l'enquête, d'abord menée par l'escouade en cybersurveillance de la SQ. Comme le suspect demeurait à Rivière-du-Loup, le dossier a été transféré à la division des enquêtes régionales est de la SQ à Rimouski, qui a poursuivi l'investigation de concert avec le Service des enquêtes sur l'intégrité de la personne.

Lors de l'arrestation de Castonguay, hier matin, les policiers ont saisi dans son appartement de la rue Iberville tout son matériel informatique, qui fera l'objet d'une analyse poussée. Quelques grammes de pot ont aussi été trouvés, d'où une accusation portée de possession de cannabis.

Propagande nazie

Selon nos informations, les policiers ont aussi trouvé dans son logement du matériel de propagande nazie, comme des chandails et des drapeaux arborant la croix gammée, ce qui entre en relation directe avec les accusations portées. Une accusation de propagande haineuse peut entraîner une peine d'emprisonnement maximale de deux ans.

David Castonguay reviendra devant le tribunal le 27 septembre. Entre-temps, il a pu recouvrer sa liberté moyennant plusieurs conditions. Il lui est notamment interdit d'utiliser un ordinateur ou tout autre moyen de communication lui permettant d'accéder à Internet.

Il s'agit de la deuxième arrestation concernant des crimes de cette nature cette semaine. Mardi, les policiers ont arrêté un jeune homme de 17 ans de Sept-Îles qui utilisait son profil Facebook pour diffuser de la propagande haineuse à l'endroit de différentes communautés ethniques.

Quebec provincial police have arrested a second person this week for allegedly spreading hate on the Internet.

A 28-year-old man faces charges of broadcasting hate propaganda, through Youtube.

Police allege the man used the popular video-sharing site, as well as networking sites Twitter and Facebook, to spread hateful commentary on different ethnic groups and visible minorities.

Provincial police Sgt. Claude Ross says a citizen's complaint in January spurred the investigation.

Police seized a computer at the suspect's home, as well as Nazi flags and shirts as well as propaganda material.

Ross says the two arrests for similar crimes in a matter of days is merely coincidental.

A 17-year-old was arrested earlier this week in the northeastern Quebec town of Sept-Îles, for using his Facebook page to allegedly spread hate.

To be fair we don't yet know why Cobb was arrested -- it may have had nothing to do with what he posts online -- but we do find it interesting that these arrests are all occuring so soon after the Stats Canada release of hate crime statistics showing a marked increase over the previous year. Sure, it could be a coincidence, but perhaps this represents a more concerted effort to deal with hate crimes.

Perhaps the police are taking hate crimes more seriously now?

Human Rights Commission wants Terry Tremaine charged with contempt

A Regina man, fined $4,000 for publishing racist articles, was back in court Thursday accused of violating orders to stop posting hate literature on the internet.

Terry Tremaine, who used to work for the University of Saskatchewan as a math lecturer, was the focus of a lengthy investigation by the Canadian Human Rights Commission which culminated in a 2007 order by the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal.

He was found to have violated the rights of Jews and blacks by exposing them, through his online writings, to hatred.

Some of his postings referred to Jews as "parasites" and "vermin," and called for the expulsion of Jews and non-white people from Canada, the tribunal ruled.

Tremaine was told to "cease the discriminatory practice", according to the Feb. 2, 2007 decision.

On Thursday, Daniel Poulin, a lawyer for the Canadian Human Rights commission, told a Federal Court judge in Saskatoon that Tremaine did the opposite.

"It is our position that Mr Tremaine did not remove the material and, in fact, continued posting after the decision was rendered," Poulin said.

The commission is trying get Tremaine charged with contempt.

Paul Fromm is with the Canadian Association for Free Expression and has assisted Tremaine with his case.

Fromm said internet writings may not fall into the definition of communicating, an essential element of the issue concerning Tremaine.

"Sending some sort of electronic signals to a website in the United States, where that is legal, does not constitute communication," Fromm said. "Communication is defined as the transfer of ideas between two people."

But Poulin said the only reason people post their opinions online is to communicate their ideas.

"It is our position of course that posting material on the internet for everybody to see it, in fact, constitutes communication," Poulin said. "In fact, that is the single most important purpose for posting on the internet, isn't it?"

The federal judge who heard the matter said a decision would come next week on whether or not Tremaine should face a charge of contempt.

Tremaine is also before the courts in Regina.

In January of 2008, police in that city laid a criminal code charge alleging Tremaine used the internet to promote hatred.

Tremaine, 61, calls himself a white nationalist. In an interview with CBC News in 2007 he said he should be free to share his views without being prosecuted.

The Sound of Silence: Latest in the Warman Defamation Suit

BCL posted on this earlier in the day, though we first noticed it in the early hours of the morning.

We haven't really written about the denizens of Free Dominion for some time (except for the occasional allusion to the website), mainly because we decided that they didn't merit a comment most of the time. Still, we've continued to be interested in the Richard Warman defamation suit filed against the couple who operate Free Dominion, the website itself and a number of anonymous members collectively referred to as the Does appear to have been identified.

All of the John Does, as well Mr. and Mrs. Fournier, have been adamant that they would fight to the bitter end, claiming that this if a free speech issue and that Warman was simply trying to silence his critics.

For one of those John Does, it looks like the struggle ended yesterday:

We can only speculate as to the change of heart. Perhaps "Droid1963" worked out some sort of deal with Mr. Warman? Maybe his lawyer told him that the case would ultimately be lost and this is Droid1963's attempt at a mea culpa to try and stem the damage. Or, just maybe, Droid1963 looked at his posts, decided that he had wronged Mr. Warman, and independently posted a genuine apology.

Who knows.

Suffice it to say we were very interested to see what the reaction would be, however when we clicked on the link later, we found this:


Looks like the page was blanked. We found it ironic that the Fourniers would censor one of the John Does given their defence of the John Does' right to free speech.

To their credit, the Fourniers did eventually allow the post, however they locked it so that there would be no comments:

More on the Aryan Guard Outreach to Anti-racists

One of the individuals who read our article about McKee, Marleau and "Maxim"offering this website, the ARA and other anti-racist groups information about the woman who fingered McKee in the November bombing attempt made an interesting observation. This person noted how it's apparent that the boneheads trust the information found here on this blog, an unabashed anti-racist website that gleefully ridicules boneheads weekly, more than they do each other.

Now that certainly say something about the state of affairs within the Canadian "White Nationalist," doesn't it?

In the meantime, Marleau has continued to engage in a campaign assassination against a women he claims to have once been in love with:

In the first image, Marleau responds to someone saying that McKee should sue for being put in jail for half a year, then goes on to continue to go after the woman who accused McKee of being involved in the bombing that took place. In the second, Marleau is a pot calling the kettle black, though if anyone is an authority on looking like crap, Marleau might have a case.

But all this should be considered with the following in mind:

3. Claims of innocence sort of ring hollow when one of the individuals who attempted to provide the ARA with information on the woman in question stated that people who provide information to the police should be killed and/or bombed:

With these three points in mind, why don't we take the claims of Marleau with a grain of salt.

One other thing we should mention. While the 17 year old co-accused does appear to have an alibi, McKee doesn't in spite of his claims to the contrary.

Teen arrested for inciting hate on Facebook

A Quebec teen has been charged for allegedly inciting racial hatred through the social networking site Facebook.

The 17-year-old from Sept-Îles was arrested for using his Facebook page to disseminate hate and propaganda against different ethnic groups, police said Tuesday.

"It was phrases that he wrote on his Facebook profile," said provincial police Sgt. Patrick Lowe.

He faces two charges: uttering threats and inciting hatred on the internet.

The boy is a minor, so his identity cannot be revealed.

Lowe said police began investigating in February after receiving a complaint from a citizen.

Police said they aren't sure yet whether other charges will be laid.

"The investigation is still open," Lowe said.

According to Statistics Canada figures from 2006, Sept-Îles is about 94 per cent French-speaking.

Less than one per cent of the population of just over 25,000 people reported speaking a language other than French or English.

Less than two per cent classified themselves as immigrants.

Adult sentences on the two charges carry prison terms of two and five years, respectively, but police say the juvenile sentences are shorter.

The arrest comes as Statistics Canada reported this week that hate crimes jumped by about 35 per cent across the country in 2008 compared to the previous year.

The agency did mention that the spike could simply be the result of better reporting by police across the country.

And this on the heels of the Statistics Canada report detailing a rise in hate crimes in the country. However some people are happy by this increase. Referring to the increase in hate crimes against homosexuals, one Stormfront member said this:

Edgar J. Steele, 64, was charged Friday - the same day the women were to be killed in a car crash meant to look like an accident, according to a probable-cause affidavit.

A confidential witness occasionally employed by Steele met with the FBI Wednesday and told agents Steele would pay him to murder the women.

The witness said Steele had discussed a list of people he wanted dead, including his wife and her mother, six months earlier. The witness agreed to the plot and accepted travel money, court documents say.

According to the affidavit, the witness was supposed to kill the women Friday because Steele had an alibi for that day. So agents concealed a device on the informant and recorded Steele planning the murders, the document said.

"The United States magistrate had found probable cause for the offense," said Traci Whelan, an assistant U.S. attorney for Idaho. "As for the timing of the arrest, it was prudent, given he had apparently set a deadline for it."

Steele is well known from his work for hate groups such as the Aryan Nations and other high-profile clients, including the McGuckin family, who held off police during a 2001 Idaho standoff. He's also known for vocal anti-semitic and racist rants on the Internet.

The witness told the FBI Steele paid $500 in cash for travel expenses and promised as much as $25,000 if the murders were completed on Friday. According to the affidavit, Steele promised the witness another $100,000 if an insurance policy paid out after his wife's murder.

"Edgar Steele told (the witness) that he has no second thoughts and he wants the plan carried out," the affidavit said. "This statement was made multiple times during the meet."

According to the affidavit, Steele said he would deny knowing the witness if he were caught, but he would compensate the witness's family if Steele was never implicated.

The motive for the alleged plot is unclear. Whelan said she believes the couple is still married and has not separated. Steele's wife was visiting or helping out with a health care issue at her mother's house in Oregon this week, Whelan said.

Calls to the Oregon house were not immediately returned on Friday.

Whelan said the complaint is just a charging document and is not proof of guilt. Steele will likely appear at a preliminary hearing on Monday, and the case must go before a grand jury, she said. Steele was arrested Friday at his Sagle home.

"Neither the FBI or U.S. Attorney's Office would proceed in a case where we didn't feel there was proof to charge," Whelan said.

Steele is in custody on federal felony charges, she said, but she declined to reveal where he is being held.

According to his website, Steele is an author and trial lawyer who graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law and has a law practice that is "noteworthy for cases that test the limits of constitutional law on behalf of politically incorrect clients." The website also says Steele recently considered a run for Idaho governor.

He unsuccessfully defended the Aryan Nations and its founder, Richard Butler, in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit brought against them in 2000. Steele penned the book "Defensive Racism: An Unapologetic Examination of Racial Differences."

Last year, in response to the shooting of a security guard at the national Holocaust Memorial Museum by neo-Nazi James von Brunn, Steele said, "Why did von Brunn choose to unload at the National Holocaust Museum? Because it is an edifice to one of the most stupendous lies of modern times, paid for and maintained with taxpayer dollars, that's why."

Steele is one member of the "Nazis in suits" crowd. You know, the people who dress in a professional manner and couch their racism "science" and "history", or at least an interpretation of said science and history. They also try to avoid racial epithets, at least in public. However, under the surface, they're just the same as the other boneheads.

New Development in Nova Scotia Cross Burning Case

We've been following the case of Nathan and Justin Rehberg since the case first came to our awareness. As a reminder to our readers, the Rehberg brothers are accused of burning a cross on the lawn of a mixed race couple in Nova Scotia in an apparent effort to racially intimidate them. The two men were arrested not long after the incident took place. The two men have been out on bail, posted by grandparents, since that time.

Looks like that has changed as well, at least for Nathan:

WINDSOR — One of the men charged in connection with a cross burning in Hants County is going back to jail.

An arrest warrant was issued for Nathan Neil Rehberg, 20, in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Windsor on Wednesday.

Justice J. Arthur LeBlanc issued the warrant at the request of Crown prosecutor Bill Fergusson after Rehberg’s grandparents appeared in court to request that their bail responsibilities be revoked.

Darrell and Marianne Boutilier, who live in Garlands Crossing, Hants County, put up $5,000 bail for Rehberg and his brother Justin Chad Rehberg, 19, last March.

The two men were released March 2 on the condition that they reside at the Boutiliers' home and abide by several conditions, including no contact with the victims, a 9 pm to 6 am curfew and a ban on alcohol, drugs and weapons.

But the Boutiliers appeared in court Wednesday in a legal process called a rendering, in which they requested to withdraw the surety on Nathan Rehberg. They were escorted into and out of court by an RCMP officer.

They did not give a reason, and are not required to under the Criminal Code, said Rehberg’s lawyer Luke Craggs.

Craggs said he didn’t know yet if there would be another bail hearing.“It’s hard to say. He has other family support. He has other people who, as I understand it, are prepared to help him out.”

Nathan Rehberg has elected a Supreme Court trial by judge and jury. The trial is scheduled to begin Nov. 10. Five days have been set aside for it.

Justin Rehberg is scheduled to go to provincial court trial Oct. 18.The two men were charged after a cross-burning incident on the front lawn of a mixed-race couple Shayne Howe and Michelle Lyon, in Poplar Grove, Hants County, shortly after midnight Feb. 21. There was also allegedly a hangman’s noose dangling from the cross and someone yelled racial slurs and threats.

The two men are charged with public incitement of hatred, mischief, uttering threats and criminal harassment.The incident ignited an outcry across the province and country.

Aryan Guard Offer Anti-Racists Information

Our readers are well aware that Kyle McKee was released on probation after having plead guilty to possessing bomb making materials. The more serious charges, including attempted murder, were dropped however, which was a bit disappointing.

Now that McKee has been released, it seems that he's interested in settling some scores with the people who put him behind bars for half a year:

However, what might come as a surprise to some is the efforts of McKee and company to reach out to anti-racists by offering them said information.

On Nexopia, we noticed the following offer from John Marleau:

Of course, we were more than a bit intrigued. So we looked at the documents in question. It is, indeed, the statement made by one of the targets of the attack for which McKee and a 17 year old youth were arrested. When asked why Marleau would post this link, he responds:


Keep in mind, Marleau at one time claimed to care deeply for this woman. Now he's hell bent on destroying her. Considering his past record dealing with women who have spurned him, we shouldn't be shocked. Still, user "R4WH4TE" poses an interesting question, doesn't he? Marleau is posting documents containing the address and phone number of a crime victim (no matter what we ourselves think about her or her politics). No worries though. She moved. She no longer lives at the address mentioned or has that phone number. Still, a thinking person might consider the obvious problem with posting addresses and phone numbers of people who no longer have then, in that somone else DOES now have the address and phone number:


Marleau ain't exactly a deep thinker now, is he? And he doesn't seem to concerned that someone completely innocent and unaware might now be subject to harassment, so long as Carolyne is exposed:


But here's another problem for McKee and Marleau. Even if Carolyne does lie about 90% of the time in the police statement, the 5% remaining still reflects very poorly on both of them, as observed by another Nexopia member:


So here we have a bonehead willingly giving information about another "White Nationalist" to anti-racists with the desire that it be posted here on this blog (knowing full well that not only anti-racists, but also boneheads are frequent readers).

We have to ask the boneheads who read this blog then, is that okay with you? Is it okay that one of yours is willing to turn over information to.... well.... to us?

Think about that for a moment and let it sink in for a bit.

And here's another thing to think about. We aren't the only anti-racist group that Marleau and McKee have been shopping this document around to.

As our readers know, and despite claims by some of our detractors to the contrary, we in the ARC Collective are not members of Anti-Racist Action. We do maintain a positive dialogue with a number of anti-racist groups, the ARA included, but we have a different vision a different comfort level with state authorities than they do. We respect their position as they respect our.

Yesterday, we received a message on our Facebook account from Jason Devine who was a bit confused. You see, he received four phone calls from Kyle McKee and his friend, "Maxim Lee." The last call, in which he actually engaged in a conversation, resulted in an offer of the documents that Marleau has posted on his Facebook profile. All that would be needed would be for Mr. or Mrs. Devine to provide an email address. Mr. Devine wanted to know if this was serious or some sort of a ruse (and given the number of times his residence has been firebombed and vandalized over the past two years, who could blame him?).

So, to summarize, John Marleau and Kyle McKee have offered to provide information on other, "White Nationalists" to us, to other anti-racists, and to the ARA, or to put in a way sure to be provocative, the communists.

Let THAT sink in for a while, ladies and gentlemen.

Isn't it ironic that while the remnants of the Aryan Guard are calling Carolyne a rat for providing information to the police regarding a possible attempted murder, Marleau and McKee seem unconcerned about providing information to people whom they view as one of their key enemies?

And we pose this question to the boneheads who read this blog. If McKee and Marleau are willing to sell out their own even if the people they are selling out are scum (and believe us, the members of WEB are scum), who else might they be willing to inform on in order to hurt reputations or to get out of their way? Do you think that they can really be trusted?

We'll leave you to ponder these and other questions.

We should note that the Devines didn't take "Maxim" or Kyle up on their offer.

But we're sure our readership are all very anxious to see the documents that Marleau and McKee were willing to provide. We have them (both from Marleau's picture album he made available for general viewing on his Facebook profile and emailed to us from another, "White Nationalist") and they are very interesting documents. That's it. We're sure that our readers are interested in more, however we won't be publishing any for the time being for some of the following reasons:

1. We're concerned about the legality of publishing this document.
2. There's a great deal of personal information that remains unredacted, including the name of the 17 year old co-accused as well as the address and phone number already mentioned. Sure, we could do it ourselves, but that's hardly the point.

Our final reason is perhaps most important personally.

We don't dance to the music played by boneheads. They want to go to war with each other, great. We'll happily follow it and update our readership on their pathetic lives (because it is so damn funny now). But don't think for a single moment that they'll be able to use us in their efforts. What we do we do on our terms.

Canadian Stormfront Moderator Identified

Well that's disappointing. Here we spent a nice Thursday evening inside writing an article for this blog when we could have been out for a drink and enjoying the nice weather. Then, poof! Just like that it disappears. Not only that, but it takes down the rest of the blog with it.

No matter.

A few years ago, soon after Jared Taylor was shown the door (literally) by anti-racists when he came to give a talk in Halifax, Stormfront moderator "OdinPatrick" made a point of identifying the individuals involved.

On the one hand, we can't be too critical as we essentially do the same thing to the boneheads. However, we do have standards and lines that we will not cross. You see, "OdinPatrick" also identified individuals who were present at the Taylor speech but who were not a part of the protest. He also posted pictures of the anti-racists' family members, phone numbers and home addresses. As a result, these individuals as well as the anti-racists were subject to death threats.


The folks on Stormfront were falling all over themselves to congratulate "OdinPatrick" for his hard work. He gleefully accepted their praise.


Karma has a funny way of biting you in the ass sometimes.

OdinPatrick (who also appears to post on Free Dominion as "Padraigh" and is one of the individuals named in the Warman defamation suit), is Dan Martin from Nanaimo, B.C. He is the senior Canadian moderator on Stormfront (a well-known hate site) begun by former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, Don Black.
