"Brandon Allen ended his career at Arkansas as the SEC's most efficient quarterback (3rd in the country)". The beginning of Allen's career at Arkansas was not a story of which dreams are made of. He lost a lot of games, threw a lot of picks, and was bashed by the Arkansas fan base. His car was egged at one point, and then later on set on fire by angry fans. After an under average sophomore year, and for part of his junior year, fans wanted him to be benched, but Bret Beliema stayed true to his quarterback and said that he believed in him. Allen showed many improvements in the latter part of his Junior Year, and came into his senior year with more support. Allen completely lit it up in his senior year and became the best quarterback in the SEC, and in arguably the whole country. Allen was drafted in the 6th round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2015. He was definitely a steal in the draft because of his mobility, accuracy, footwork, and decision making. Allen excels in the play action game, and will definitely benefit by running a pro-style offense in college. He is extremely accurate on the run in bootlegs and in scramble-pass situations, and has deceptive speed of forced to run. Allen's decision making shined bright in his junior and senior year with a combined 50/13 Touchdown to INT ratio. Allen truly flipped the script despite all the negativity and hatred, and he will forever be remembered as one of the great quarterbacks in Arkansas history. #WPS I do not own any of these clips.
