Noble Park North singer Stacey Alleaume in Sydney silent opera
CHOIR was where it all started for Noble Park North opera singer Stacey Alleaume.
Finding a love for classical music at a young age, the 30-year-old has capped off a long journey with a lead performance in the world’s first large-scale, live silent opera in Sydney.
Mrs Alleaume encouraged everyone with a love for music to explore it.
“They might not go into opera, but they might want to be a musician, do sets or costuming. There’s a wealth of avenues,” she said.
The singer said the silent opera would be a “really interesting” experience and would be based on silent discos.
“It’s an innovative concept and I hope it’s successful,” she said.
The performances will be held from this Friday until November 5.
