Barcelona (/bɑːrsəˈloʊnə/, Catalan: [bəɾsəˈlonə], Spanish: [barθeˈlona]) is the capital city of the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain and Spain's second most populated city, with a population of 1.6 million within its administrative limits. Its urban area extends beyond the administrative city limits with a population of around 4.7 million people, being the seventh-most populous urban area in the European Union after Paris, London, Madrid, the Ruhr area, Berlin and Milan. It is the largest metropolis on the Mediterranean Sea, located on the coast between the mouths of the rivers Llobregat and Besòs, and bounded to the west by the Serra de Collserola mountain range, the tallest peak of which is 512 metres (1,680 ft) high.
Founded as a Roman city, in the Middle Ages Barcelona became the capital of the County of Barcelona. After merging with the Kingdom of Aragon, Barcelona continued to be an important city in the Crown of Aragon as an economical and administrative center of this Crown and the capital of the Principality of Catalonia. Besieged several times during its history, Barcelona has a rich cultural heritage and is today an important cultural center and a major tourist destination. Particularly renowned are the architectural works of Antoni Gaudí and Lluís Domènech i Montaner, which have been designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The headquarters of the Union for the Mediterranean is located in Barcelona. The city is known for hosting the 1992 Summer Olympics as well as world-class conferences and expositions and also many international sport tournaments.
A storey (or story in American English) is any level part of a building that could be used by people (for living, work, storage, recreation, etc.). The plurals are "storeys" and "stories" respectively.
The terms "floor", "level", or "deck" can also be used in this sense, except that one may use "ground floor" and "ground level" for the floor closer to what is considered the ground or street level. The words "storey" and "floor" also generally exclude levels of the building that have no roof, even if they are used by people—such as the terrace on the top roof of many buildings.
Houses commonly have only one or two floors. Buildings are often classified as low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise according to how many levels they contain, but these categories are not well-defined. The tallest skyscraper in the world, Burj Khalifa, has 163 floors. As of 2013, the tallest planned skyscraper, Sky City, is planned to have 202 floors.
The height of each storey is based on the ceiling height of the rooms plus the thickness of the floors between each pane. Generally this is around 10 feet (3.0 m) total, however it varies widely from just under this figure to well over it. Storeys within a building need not be all the same height — often the lobby is more spacious, for example. Additionally, higher levels may be smaller in area than the ones beneath (a prominent feature of the Willis Tower).

Finally a new TVD vid, comments as always are appreciated. My vids don't get many comments anymore :( Ensemble vid. Song : First floor people -Barcelona.
I first heard Barcelona sometime before 2008 at a Relient K concert and fell in love. They became the music of a long and memorable relationship of mine and underscored it's passing as well. I never let anything sour my love of music, however, and they still are with me today. Definitely not the best sounding song on guitar and I messed up a few times but it's a start, either way.

Barcelona is today one of the world's leading tourist, economic, trade fair/exhibitions and cultural-sports centres, and its influence in commerce, education, entertainment, media, fashion, science, and the arts all contribute to its status as one of theworld's major global cities. ✱ 2166 Hotels in Barcelona - Lowest Price Guarantee ► http://goo.gl/0agMrd Travel video about destination Barcelona in Spain. Barcelona is one of the most lively harbor cities on the Mediterranean and after Madrid, Spain's second largest city and the capital of Catalonia. Intimate squares, small palaces and tangled alleys provide a good insight into its history as Iberians, Greeks and Romans once had trading posts there. La Rambla is a wide and shady boulevard that travels through the old town to the harbor and is where life goes on both night and day. It's also where street artists perform, shoeblacks work diligently and portrait painters tout for trade among the passing tourists. The Museu Marítim is situated in the royal dockyards of Drassanes, that were built when the city was at it...

The capital of Catalonia is one of Europe’s cosyest and livable cities. It is famous for its nice weather, good transport, lot of green areas, and parks full of fountains and statues. Nice and friendly people, a buzzing cultural life, colourful events and the famous Catalonian cousine is waiting for the visitors. We are seduced by the huge dock, the sport centres and well maintained monuments of 2 thousand years. The busy Rambla, circled by palaces, the gothic quarter, which remained in the past, the houses of Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia cathedral and the Columbus Monument are just a few from among the countless spectacles of the city.
Rich in culture and bold with Catalan flair, Barcelona is one of Europe's great cultural powerhouses. Join Lonely Planet as they discover the city's highlights. Visit http://www.lonelyplanet.com/spain/barcelona for more information about Barcelona.
The creative spirit of Spain's Catalunya — the land of Picasso, Gaudí, and Salvador Dalí — is on a roll. We'll get caught up in the festivity of Barcelona, enjoying the vibrant street scenes, tasty tapas, and pedestrian-friendly Gothic Quarter. Then we'll take a scenic side trip to mountaintop Montserrat, and finish with an artist's pilgrimage along the Costa Brava to Salvador Dalí country. In seaside Cadaques, we'll visit Dalí's home, and in nearby Figueres, we'll experience his playfully surreal mausoleum/museum. © 2008 Rick Steves' Europe
"If I am found, below the ground, I'm searching, desperate..." So I pretty much had totally forgotten that I even made this video. Sooo.. here it is! =D Anyway, this one kind of focuses on the ups and downs (but mostly the downs) of Dawn's and David's relationship... So let me know what you think! Thanks! =) Song: First Floor People Artist: Barcelona *No copyright infringement intended. I own nothing. This was made purely for fun.*

MAJOR SPOILER ALERT. THIS CONSISTS OF THE ENDING ONLY So, on the way to the Distant Worlds concert on Saturday, Cazza was telling me allll about the new Type-0 ending. To the point I was tearing up. So, on Sunday morning, I went and watched it. And promptly burst into tears. Soooo from then on to today I created this. And I cried some more. And then some more. And did I mention I made a background too? Yeah, I did that too. Machina and Rem magically became my favourite characters overnight. This is different to usual - it's quite simple and uses a lot of the dissolve transition, but I really wanted to capture the sadness of the ending. Machina's face breaks my heart everytime Dx I hope I succeeded! Song and media and artist is all in the beginning!
My very first True Blood video :D And I'm more than happy about this result... This video was just so easy to put together but I guess it's because of Barcelonas songs... It’s July 4th so it’s time to celebrate our independence at the lake. Now that the novelty of jumping off high things has worn off just a bit…it’s time to start doing tricks and flips off of the local cliff, also known as Diving Rock. This is only natural as Whitney is a gymnast. But Braxton was also performed a few flips as Sterling worked the camera. Blakely is still too smart to start jumping off cliffs. Of course we wrapped up the holiday with a big batch of fireworks! From Wikipedia: High diving is the act of diving into water from relatively great heights. High diving can be performed as an adventure sport (as with cliff diving), as a performance stunt (as with many records attempts), or competitively during sporting events. It debuted as a sport at the 2013 World Aquatics Ch...

First floor people
I? ll take my place among the throngs
Everyone reading books on how not to fall
Some may say, the world looks
The same through red eyes, no way
Covered in dirt off the floor, I? m seeing straight
Don? t be scared if you know
Help me to explain myself
Who am I to fool now if you? re gone, you? re gone
If I am found below the ground
I? m searching, desperate
Prepared people, take your places on deck
I? m a lost boy with no one to tell me I am safe
Overarching rules have told me not to think about
Who am I to fool now if you? re gone, you? re gone?
If I am found below the ground
I? m searching, desperate
This hole is deeper by the hour
My hands are bleeding I spin around, you? re nowhere
I? ll throw away my ugly plans
They? re too tired to push me anywhere but down
So who am I to fool now if you? re gone, you? re gone
If I am found below the ground
I? m searching, desperate
So who am I to fool now if you? re gone, you? re gone
If I am found below the ground
