For healing purposes I own no rights to this, I upload it because this music has helped me very much, even though not in an ayahuasca state. This music is inherently healing, as is the case of indigenous music all over the planet. We call this the Donald Trumps Hair Caterpillar for obvious reasons...It looks a lot like Donald Trumps Hair. It's actually a Flannel Moth Caterpillar (Megalopyge opercularis) in the family Megalopygidae. The caterpillar has Urticating hairs or urticating bristles which can cause irritation when they break off and lodge in skin. In some species these structures are hollow and connected to poison-producing cells, functioning like a hypodermic needle. Generally most hairs are only irritating, but some are dangerous to the eyes and respiratory tract, and some can cause severe skin necrosis and shedding. I am a wildlife photographer based in the amazon jungle of southeastern Peru. I use special camera traps to photograph rare animals. A camera trap is a remotely activated camera that is equipped with a motion sensor or an infrared sensor as a trigger. Camera trapping is a method for capturing wild animals on film when researchers are not present, and has been used in ecological research for decades. I set this camera trap up using a Canon 7D, a TrailMaster IR trigger and two Nikon SB-28 flash units. I got all sorts of cool...

The Incas built Machu Picchu around 1450, but abandoned it a century later at the time of the Spanish Conquest. Although known locally, it was unknown to the outside world before being brought to international attention in 1911 by the American historian Hiram Bingham. Since then, Machu Picchu has become an important tourist attraction. The Peruvian Amazon, the fourth largest expanse of tropical rainforest in the world, occupies 60% of the country and is one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth. But the destruction of habitat over the last 20 years has taken its toll. Deforestation due to gold mining, oil extraction, logging and expansion of palm oil plantations has had a devastating effect on the wildlife and on the indigenous people.
Ever wondered what the jungle sounds like? Whilst nothing beats waking up this from your hammock, we have an audio recording taken on expedition to the Peruvian Amazon where we made our basecamp in the Manu National Park. Manu is one of the most biodiverse places in the world which explains why there is such an orchestra of birds, frogs and insects at dawn! What to experience it for yourself - join us in 2017 on our expedition for 3 or 5 weeks! http://www.britishexploring.org/explore-with-us/expeditions/peruvian-amazon.aspx
