Academy Award for Best Song in a Musical
If you have or had a grandfather/grandmother or father/mother who served in World War II and you wondered why he or she never talked about the war, this is why. Charles Durning was only one of 16 plus million who served and when asked to speak about his tour of duty he would only say "Why....do you want to see me cry?" Finally, in 2004, he spoke. This is an excerpt from the National Memorial Day Concert that was aired last night. I used my camcorder to capture this portion of the show that is why it sou...

[I do not own this video nor do I own the audio. All rights are reserved by Universal Pictures.] One of the best songs of Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. May Charles Durning rest in peace. Ooh I love to dance a little sidestep, now they see me now they don't- I've come and gone and, ooh I love to sweep around the wide step, cut a little swathe and lead the people on. Now my good friends, it behooves me to be solemn and declare, I'm for goodness and for profit and for living clean and sayi...
