The Scapicchio Family is one of the most ancient family still in activity in Italy. Since 1820, 5 generations that handing down the art of shaving. It was a great honor to visit their shop. Here the first part of the face shave performed by master Enzo with the help of Pina (that will perform the head shave).

What is ASMR?
ASMR is a complex name to define a very simple sensation: TINGLES mainly located on the top of the head.
This tingles may be triggered by a lot of things:
1)Whispers, slow speech, soft spoken voices
2)Massages
3)Personal attention from someone
4)Watching other people performing simple tasks
5)Any type of Role Play
6)Haircuts (yes my channel is based on this :) )
and lots more.
Personally I have discovered ASMR through a youtube video: Baba World's Greatest Head Massage
Anyway for other triggers I suggest to take a look of GentleWhispering (the real youtube ASMR superstar), MassageASMR (that combine two of the most powerful triggers, whispering and massage) and finally the Bob Ross deep voice, a painter that was the first ASMR artist.

Straight razor
A straight razor is a razor with a blade that can fold into its handle. They are also called open razors and cut-throat razors.
Although straight razors were once the principal method of manual shaving, they have been largely overshadowed by the safety razor, which incorporates a disposable blade. Electric razors of various types have also been an available alternative, especially since the 1950s. Despite this, straight razors still hold a market share, and forums and outlets provide products, directions, and advice to straight razor users. Straight razor manufacturers still exist in Europe, Asia (especially Japan), and North America. Antique straight razors are also actively traded.
Straight razors require considerable skill to hone and strop, and require more care during shaving. These methods were once a major portion of the curriculum in barber colleges.
History
The first narrow-bladed folding straight razors were listed by a Sheffield, England manufacturer in 1680. By 1740, Benjamin Huntsman was making straight razors complete with decorated handles and hollow-ground blades made from cast steel, using a process he himself invented. Huntsman's process was adopted by the French sometime later; albeit reluctantly at first due to nationalist sentiments. The English manufacturers were even more reluctant than the French to adopt the process and only did so after they saw its success in France.

What is ASMR?
ASMR is a complex name to define a very simple sensation: TINGLES mainly located on the top of the head.
This tingles may be triggered by a lot of things:
1)Whispers, slow speech, soft spoken voices
2)Massages
3)Personal attention from someone
4)Watching other people performing simple tasks
5)Any type of Role Play
6)Haircuts (yes my channel is based on this :) )
and lots more.
Personally I have discovered ASMR through a youtube video: Baba World's Greatest Head Massage
Anyway for other triggers I suggest to take a look of GentleWhispering (the real youtube ASMR superstar), MassageASMR (that combine two of the most powerful triggers, whispering and massage) and finally the Bob Ross deep voice, a painter that was the first ASMR artist.

Here, Mustache Jim perfectly executes the Executive Shave. Like a Classic Shave, they begin with two steaming facial towels to soften the beard and open the pores. Once the skin is ready, they wash the face with cleanser to remove any dirt and oils in the skin. They then apply a pre-shave hot oil application, basic lathering and a shave going with the grain of your beard. After a re-lather, they shave against the grain (if preferred). Next is cleansing the face of any excess shaving products with a warm towel and apply Deep Detox Clay mask allowing the mask to dry for 3-8 minutes (depending on skin type). I was looking for a great shave here in the Twin Cities and it didn't take long to stumble upon Mustache Jim and the crew at Gent Cuts and Grooming.
Jim, GENT Master Barber, offers a well-rounded selection of sensibilities and style. Keeping a fresh perspective and a classic background, Moustache Jim has been honing his craft for 13 years. Specializing in straight razor shaves, haircuts, and beard trims, Moustache Jim provides the perfect service for special occasions as well as meeting the day to day needs of any occasion.
Here, Mustache Jim perfectly executes the Executive Shave. Like a Classic Shave, they begin with two steaming facial towels to soften the beard and open the pores. Once the skin is ready, they wash the face with cleanser to remove any dirt and oils in the skin. They then apply a pre-shave hot oil application, basic lathering and a shave going with the grain of your beard. After a re-lather, they shave against the grain (if preferred). Next is cleansing the face of any excess shaving products with a warm towel and apply Deep Detox Clay mask allowing the mask to dry for 3-8 minutes (depending on skin type). They remove the mask with a clean, warm towel and end the Executive Shave with a cool facial towel and aftershave. Mustache Jim also does a great job explaining how to shave with a straight razor and some of the benefits of shaving with a straight razor.
