The Airbus A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine jet airliner manufactured by the European aircraft company Airbus. It is the world's largest passenger airliner, and the airports at which it operates have upgraded facilities to accommodate it. It was initially named Airbus A3XX and designed to challenge Boeing's monopoly in the large-aircraft market. The A380 made its first flight on 27 April 2005 and entered commercial service in October 2007 with Singapore Airlines.
The A380's upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, with a width equivalent to a wide-body aircraft. This gives the A380-800's cabin 550 square metres (5,920 sq ft) of usable floor space, 40% more than the next largest airliner, the Boeing 747-8, and provides seating for 525 people in a typical three-class configuration or up to 853 people in an all-economy class configuration. The A380-800 has a design range of 8,500 nautical miles (15,700 km), sufficient to fly nonstop from Dallas, USA to Sydney, Australia, and a cruising speed of Mach 0.85 (about 900 km/h, 560 mph or 490 kn at cruising altitude).

I have filmed lots of crosswind landings within the past four years but this was the first time I was able to film an A380 crosswind Landing. All crosswind Landings are amazing but seeing an A380 fighting against the wind was something special. In addition to that the runway was very wet and the A380 touched down a little late. Emirates started using the A380 on the Düsseldorf - Dubai service four months ago. It replaced the Boeing 777-300. Thanks for watching, I hope you liked it and please don` t forget to press the thumbs up button ;)
More than 220,000 passengers have flown the two-class A380 on over 450 flights since it first entered service in December 2015. The Emirates’ two class configured A380 features 58 flatbed seats in Business Class and 557 spacious seats in Economy Class, as well as Emirates’ popular OnBoard Lounge. Emirates has 4 two-class configured A380s in its fleet of 74 A380s.
Which of these planes do you like more? Write it in the comments. In addition to that please tell me which planes I should compare next. You decide !! It` s time for another "versus" video. This time I would like to know if you prefere the Airbus A380 or the Boeing 747. This is my 10th comparison and this time I decided to compare the biggest passengar planes, the A380 with the B747. The first Boeing 747 entered service in February 1971. A total of 2000 planes have been built within the past 45 years. The first Airbus A380 was delivered in 2007 to Singapore Airlines. Until today 187 planes have been bulit and Airbus is currently thinking about producing an Airbus A380neo which will be more fuel efficient. On 4 November 2010, Qantas Flight 32, en route to Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport, suffered an uncontained engine failure in its No.2 engine shortly after take-off. The crew managed to overcome a number of resulting failures and make an emergency landing back at Singapore. There were 469 passengers and crew on board. There were no injuries to the passengers, crew or people on the ground; debris from the aircraft fell onto the Indonesian island of Batam. BBC, Documentary A380, Wing #BBC #Channel Building A Super Jumbo Wing of Airbus A380 Britain is one of the world leaders in aerospace manufacturing and there's one part of a plane the UK is reputed to make better than anyone else - the wings. It's often said that no matter what else is done and what innovations are introduced, the wing defines the aircraft. The A380 wing is the largest ever produced for a civil airliner, at 17.7 metres from front to back and 36.3 metres from fuselage to wingtip. The maximum length of metal in a single wing is 46 metres and the result is an aircraft with a tip-to-tip wingspan of 79.8 metres, making the A380 the world's biggest passenger aircraft. The film follows some of the people who work at the two main Airbus factories in the UK. In Filton, near Bri...
In this episode of Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections Richard sets out on a quest to find the amazing engineering connections behind the Airbus A380, the largest passenger airliner in history. His journey reveals that this state-of-the-art aircraft owes as much to weapons of war, Mother Nature and household objects as it does to high technology. He discovers that a bicycle pump, a 19th-century rocket, an ancient Mongolian bow and an eagle's wing are all hidden in its secret DNA. Richard Hammond's Engineering Connections is a documentary series broadcast on the National Geographic Channel. It is presented by Richard Hammond, and looks at how engineers and designers use historic inventions and clues from the natural world in ingenious ways to develop new buildings and machines. N...

Its not the fear of seeing new days, but it's the fear of seeing your eyes
Full of august promises and september curses
And helping your hands with wayward stabbings
Flick throw these matches I'll ignite and rise
To dress you in flames and reel around your ashes
In cowardice speak her name tear this writing from this page
And watch me claim this crime
