These Sharks are known to roam all the shorelines of the East Coast at different times of year, here in NJ this is a summertime fishery. They are non aggressive species of sharks who contribute nothing to yearly totals on shark attacks in the US, although they look mean, they are harmless, just big and stupid and lazy animals that go nuts when hooked, very fun on rod and reel and the Largest fish that any shore angler on the East Coast could hope to catch!

This was 2 days of shark fishing in NJ, these fish can be found on any beach, key is to fish at dusk and at night, we left before nightfall both days due to an outrageous mosquito swarm that carried us back to our cars as soon as the sun went down, whether its green heads, no see ums or mosquitos, there is always some insect that will be trying to eat you while shark fishing.

New Jersey: An explosion from a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a garbage can sparked the cancellation of the Seaside Semper Five 5k Marine Corps charity run in Seaside Park, New Jersey on Saturday morning. Three additional pipe-bomb type devices were also found near the boardwalk.
Minnesota: Eight people were injured at a St Cloud, Minnesota shopping mall during a stabbing spree by a man armed with a knife and dressed in a private security uniform.
New York: An explosion from a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a dumpster rocked the Chelsea neighborhood in New York City on Saturday evening - injuring at least 29 people, including an eight-year-old boy.

HOPATCONG, N.J. — A reptile specialist leading the search for a snake on the loose in Lake Hopatcong now says it is a green anaconda, not a boa constrictor, as officials had maintained.
Gerald Andrejcak told NJ.com that he was told by a local animal control officer to keep quiet about the true species to avoid raising public panic.
Andrejcak said in the past few weeks of searching, he saw the snake once, estimating it to be up to 16 feet long with a head the size of a human.
Reptile Expert: Snake On Loose In NJ Actually An Anaconda
Green anacondas can grow to be as large as 29 feet and 550 pounds, according to NationalGeographic.com. So far, the snake has become New Jersey's version of the Loch Ness Monster, with various sightings but still alluding capture.
Officials are advising people to call police if they see it, and to stay away.
Andrejcak said it was not a lie to describe the snake as a boa constrictor "because it's a member of the boa family."
Neighbors have been worried.
"It's scary because you don't know where he's creeping from, so we just want it caught," Michelle Poli told CBS 2′s Tracee Carrasco last week.
"What we're afraid of is the animals, small dogs, cats, raccoons — and I would advise people not to put their baby in the lake," animal control Officer Dale Sloat told Carrasco. "A snake this size can probably swim about 25 miles an hour."
Sloat believes the snake was likely someone's pet, and was released into the water when it became too big to care for.

It has been suggested over and over that we make a gofundme account to "get support" for the destruction the bears caused in our backyard. My wife and I felt it was unnecessary and inapropriate to capatilize off that one day in our yard.
Then, a few months later, the boy scouts got themselves in trouble with the very same bears, and debates on what to do with the bears were a buzz in our area.

This was 2 days of shark fishing in NJ, these fish can be found on any beach, key is to fish at dusk and at night, we left before nightfall both days due to an outrageous mosquito swarm that carried us back to our cars as soon as the sun went down, whether its green heads, no see ums or mosquitos, there is always some insect that will be trying to eat you while shark fishing.

New Jersey: An explosion from a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a garbage can sparked the cancellation of the Seaside Semper Five 5k Marine Corps charity run in Seaside Park, New Jersey on Saturday morning. Three additional pipe-bomb type devices were also found near the boardwalk.
Minnesota: Eight people were injured at a St Cloud, Minnesota shopping mall during a stabbing spree by a man armed with a knife and dressed in a private security uniform.
New York: An explosion from a suspected Improvised Explosive Device (IED) in a dumpster rocked the Chelsea neighborhood in New York City on Saturday evening - injuring at least 29 people, including an eight-year-old boy.

HOPATCONG, N.J. — A reptile specialist leading the search for a snake on the loose in Lake Hopatcong now says it is a green anaconda, not a boa constrictor, as officials had maintained.
Gerald Andrejcak told NJ.com that he was told by a local animal control officer to keep quiet about the true species to avoid raising public panic.
Andrejcak said in the past few weeks of searching, he saw the snake once, estimating it to be up to 16 feet long with a head the size of a human.
Reptile Expert: Snake On Loose In NJ Actually An Anaconda
Green anacondas can grow to be as large as 29 feet and 550 pounds, according to NationalGeographic.com. So far, the snake has become New Jersey's version of the Loch Ness Monster, with various sightings but still alluding capture.
Officials are advising people to call police if they see it, and to stay away.
Andrejcak said it was not a lie to describe the snake as a boa constrictor "because it's a member of the boa family."
Neighbors have been worried.
"It's scary because you don't know where he's creeping from, so we just want it caught," Michelle Poli told CBS 2′s Tracee Carrasco last week.
"What we're afraid of is the animals, small dogs, cats, raccoons — and I would advise people not to put their baby in the lake," animal control Officer Dale Sloat told Carrasco. "A snake this size can probably swim about 25 miles an hour."
Sloat believes the snake was likely someone's pet, and was released into the water when it became too big to care for.
"We have to catch it," Sloat said"

It has been suggested over and over that we make a gofundme account to "get support" for the destruction the bears caused in our backyard. My wife and I felt it was unnecessary and inapropriate to capatilize off that one day in our yard.
Then, a few months later, the boy scouts got themselves in trouble with the very same bears, and debates on what to do with the bears were a buzz in our area.
Since the town has a somewhat contravercial view on our furry neighbors, we now feel if we can help, let's. Even if we're a little late.
