Sonic and Tails crash land on a mysterious world after battling their longtime enemy Dr Eggman. Upon touchdown, they are surprised by a deadly new group of enemies intent on destroying both Sonic, and his entire world.
Notes: I kind of hate this game's story, but I figured I'd do something with the cutscenes since I recorded the entire game for review footage.
Also, I wasn't content with just using cutscenes because every time Sonic battles a boss, the story never shows any evidence of it. This is true in pretty much every video game because hey, it's a video game. You're supposed to be playing it, not just watching the story scenes. Anyway, I added in brief footage of Sonic taking on the bosses in the correct places so.....yeah. Extra detail.

(Re-uploaded for better sound quality and a music change to not affect weird YouTube copyright searches)
Hey folks! Newgrounds released this awesome program called "Swivel" that converts your flash movies in to a video format perfectly, even upscaling them. So I decided to take my old Sonic Nazo Unleashed trilogy, combine in to one in 1080p HD, especially now that YouTube allows for movies longer than 15 minutes 6 years later. Now I look back and the drawings, backgrounds, and animation come off as very crude, but because I made this when I was in high school, I am still proud of it. Not only was the video upscaled, but I added many special effects and screen direction fixes.
I have also included optional annotation notes about characters, moves, and trivia throughout the movie.
I still will not be making any kind of sequel because, at this point, I can not dedicate that much time to a video that uses copyrighted characters. I left it open as to keep people wondering and allow fans to make their own continuations, just like SunshineTheFox did.

Sonic & friends are at it again in the latest volume of the Sonic Shorts!
This time around you all get to see the sonic shorts in HD! In the future we'll reupload the previous volumes in HD when we get the chance. Volume 8 took awhile to make compared to the other entries. Some of these shorts were actually meant for volume 6 but due to flash constraints we had to move them to 8; so you may have seen 1 or 2 shorts already via one of our animators webpages. I would like to thank all the animators, voice actors, and musicians for doing a splendid job on their parts. Each short turned out great.
We are starting on a new project, the Sega Shorts Collab, soon and are looking for animators. The Sonic Shorts series isn't over yet but we'll be taking a long break from it. Besides you'll see some Sonic shorts in Sega Shorts so its not like they are not going to be around. :)

Plot: One night of severe rain, Sonic and Chip come by an old mansion where they decide to take shelter. Whilst Sonic seems unfazed by the creepy surroundings, Chip is scared out of its wits. Sonic Cinema
Hosted by music journalist and recording artist Dimitri Ehrlich, this series showcases music videos, short films, short documentaries and other works that illustrate the symbiotic relationship between music and film. The series also offers viewers a chance to meet the musicians, filmmakers and other independent artists involved in the creation of musical images. Each episode begins with a look at two or more music videos that are linked together by a common denominator followed by a segment in which a filmmaker introduces a rarely seen piece that has inspired, influenced or otherwise affected him or her. Another segment called 'Meet' profiles various artists who bridge the worlds of music and film, an ever-expanding community that can include a band that is scoring a film; a filmmaker who uses music to add layers of meaning to a scene; or a music supervisor who can name, say, every garage rock band that ever saw the inside of a recording studio. Finally, in a segment titled 'I Made It Myself', musicians discuss what happens when they put down their instruments and go behind the camera to make their own short films, videos, EPK's and other works; the musician then presents one of his or her filmed pieces.

Sonic Lost World: THE MOVIE (All Cutscenes HD)
Sonic and Tails crash land on a mysterious world after battling their longtime enemy Dr Eggman. Upon touchdown, they are surprised by a deadly new group of enemies intent on destroying both Sonic, and his entire world. Notes: I kind of hate this game's story, but I figured I'd do something with the cutscenes since I recorded the entire game for review footage. Also, I wasn't content with just using cutscenes because every time Sonic battles a boss, the story never shows any evidence of it. This is true in pretty much every video game because hey, it's a video game. You're supposed to be playing it, not just watching the story scenes. Anyway, I added in brief footage of Sonic taking on the bosses in the correct places so.....yeah. Extra detail.

Newgrounds released this awesome program called "Swivel" that converts your flash movies in to a video format perfectly, even upscaling them. So I decided to take my old Sonic Nazo Unleashed trilogy, combine in to one in 1080p HD, especially now that YouTube allows for movies longer than 15 minutes 6 years later. Now I look back and the drawings, backgrounds, and animation come off as very crude, but because I made this when I was in high school, I am still proud of it. Hey folks! Newgrounds released this awesome program called "Swivel" that converts your flash movies in to a video format perfectly, even upscaling them. So I decided to take my old Sonic Nazo Unleashed trilogy, combine in to one in 1080p HD, especially now that YouTube allows for movies longer than 15 minutes 6 years later. Now I look back and the drawings, backgrounds, and animation come off as very crude, but because I made this when I was in high school, I am still proud of it. Not only was the video upscaled, but I added many special effects and screen direction fixes.
I have also included optional annotation notes about characters, moves, and trivia throughout the movie.
I still will not be making any kind of sequel because, at this point, I can not dedicate that much time to a video that uses copyrighted characters. I left it open as to keep people wondering and allow fans to make their own continuations, just like SunshineTheFox did.

Hey folks! Newgrounds released this awesome program called "Swivel" that converts your flash movies in to a video format perfectly, even upscaling them. So I decided to take my old Sonic Nazo Unleashed trilogy, combine in to one in 1080p HD, especially now that YouTube allows for movies longer than 15 minutes 6 years later. Now I look back and the drawings, backgrounds, and animation come off as very crude, but because I made this when I was in high school, I am still proud of it. Not only was the video upscaled, but I added many special effects and screen direction fixes.
I have also included optional annotation notes about characters, moves, and trivia throughout the movie.
I still will not be making any kind of sequel because, at this point, I can not dedicate that much time to a video that uses copyrighted characters. I left it open as to keep people wondering and allow fans to make their own continuations, just like SunshineTheFox did.

This time around you all get to see the sonic shorts in HD! In the future we'll reupload the previous volumes in HD when we get the chance. Volume 8 took awhile to make compared to the other entries. Some of these shorts were actually meant for volume 6 but due to flash constraints we had to move them to 8; so you may have seen 1 or 2 shorts already via one of our animators webpages. I would like to thank all the animators, voice actors, and musicians for doing a splendid job on their parts. Each short turned out great.
We are starting on a new project, the Sega Shorts Collab, soon and are looking for animators. The Sonic Shorts series isn't over yet but we'll be taking a long break from it. Besides you'll see some Sonic shorts in Sega Shorts so its not like they are not going to be around. :)
