35+ things to do in Kyushu, Japan! Kyushu is Japan's third largest island, located southwest of the main island Honshu and is made up of seven prefectures: Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki and Kagoshima. It's also one of my favourite regions in Japan and such an underrated and undiscovered region. Here are some of my recommendations for first-time visitors! It's best to stay 2-3 days in each prefecture so you can take your time to explore! I've included everything from nature spots, activities/experiences, Japanese food, to things to do at night in the list! I had so much fun filming and exploring Kyushu - it really had everything I wanted all in one region!
