5 Violent Crimes Posted On Social Media! Description: Social media has indeed revolutionized the way we communicate to one another across the world. Before its inception, the world was only a global village in theory. Never has the world been so interconnected than after the invention of the social media. However, many people have completely missed the intention of the platform and have instead resorted to using it to post their heinous crimes for the unprepared world to see. Shocking...but true. With this being said, prepare, because here are 5 Violent Crimes Posted To Social Media! Lets...Begin. 1. A Couple's Snapchat Selfies Before Murder Stephanie Hernandez had just moved into a new house with her boyfriend Rafael Gonzalez. The 21 year old mother of two and her 20 year old boyfriend got excited and naturally started sharing photos of their new space on snapchat. However, something appeared a little awkward with the photos. One of the photos showed Gonzalez pointing his gun at his girlfriend’s head while another exposed his ammunition. Needless to say, Hernandez was dead a few hours later. Cause of her death? Shot by her boyfriend. Although witnesses said the couple had an unstable relationship, it was not clear why Gonzalez decided to end his lover’s life in that manner. And as expected, he is currently awaiting trial. 2. The ISIS Sympathizer Larossi Abballa, an ISIS sympathizer from France went into the home of a police officer in Magnanville, France. The cop was with his girlfriend at the time. As expected of a psychopath, Abballa killed the couple in cold blood. As if that was not enough damage, he went to Facebook Live to discuss with the whole world on what he should do with their 3-year old son. While at it, he threatened to level attacks against participants of the Euro 2016 tournament and urged all his supporters to ensure that the tournament is turned into a graveyard. Moments later, he was killed and the boy saved by the police. 3. Father Reveals Sons Death Via Facebook Photo How would you feel if you found out your son was dead through Facebook? Well, this is the tragedy that struck Jeff Davis, a father from Detroit. Jeff found out his son, Jeff Hagler, had been beaten and murdered after a photo showing his arm dangling from the trunk of a car was widely shared on Facebook. Apparently, the victim had been beaten and shot. Relatives of the victims saw the photo, immediately recognized the car and alerted the old man. But as of today, no one has been charged in connection to the murder. 4. Failed Suicide Pact Posted On Facebook A man in Texas was charged with the murder of his girlfriend. Kenneth Amyx, 45, posted disturbing photos of the incident on Facebook, one showing him covered in blood and the other showing his girlfriend’s, Jennifer Spears, corpse. He went on to send the victim’s mother one of the photos. I know, pretty disturbing...Anyways, according to Amyx, the couple had made a suicide pact but Jennifer refused to keep her end of the bargain. Atleast he is currently being held at the Collin county jail. 5. Teens Post Murder On Snapchat On December 2014, a woman was found murdered in cold blood in her living room in England. She had been brutally beaten with crude weapons and murdered by teenagers who went on to post the photos of the aftermath on Snapchat. Angela Wrightson’s murderers turned out to be teenagers aged 13 and 14, who had been in and out of foster cared. They showed no remorse for their actions and even went back into the house just to ensure the woman was indeed dead. Eventually, they were each sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum of 15 years.
