Philippians 4 is the fourth (and the last) chapter of the Epistle to the Philippians in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. It is authored by Paul of Tarsus and Timothy.
This chapter can be grouped (with cross references to other parts of the Bible):
.
in Prayer
The Epistle of Paul and Timothy to the Philippians, often referred to simply as Philippians, is the eleventh book in the New Testament. Paul and Timothy first visited Philippi, in Greece, during Paul's second missionary journey, which occurred between approximately 49 and 51 AD. Philippi was the location of the first Christian community established in Europe.
Biblical scholars are in general agreement that the letter was indeed written by Paul of Tarsus. The estimated date of the letter is 62 AD, about 10 years after Paul's first visit to Philippi.
The historical background of Philippians is traditionally gathered from two main primary New Testament sources: (1) informative internal data from the letter itself and (2) related information garnered from the rest of the New Testament Canon. In the latter's case, this would specifically include the Acts of the Apostles, and other related Pauline Epistles.
Other primary information is derived from external historical sources related to the chronological connections between Paul's association with Philippi, its political and economical setting, and its social and religio-philosophical context as well.

Worry goes to war against our faith every day. Life’s “what ifs” will beat us down and steal our attention if we let them. Thankfully, God’s Word gives us a tutorial on how to flip the script and go to war against the worry in our lives. This teaching is from Kevin Miller, Guest Speaker at Calvary Albuquerque.
(Philippians 4:1) Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved. (Philippians 4:2) I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord. (Philippians 4:3) And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life. (Philippians 4:4) Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. (Philippians 4:5) Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. (Philippians 4:6) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. (Philippians 4:7) And the peac...

I will be anxious for nothing
Make my request with thanksgiving
I know You are faithful, faithful to the end
Your promises are yes and amen
So I will be anxious for nothing
(I cast my cares)
Make my request with thanksgiving
(You care for me)
I know You are faithful, faithful to the end
Your promises are yes and amen
Let the peace that passes understanding
Guard my heart and mind.
Let the peace beyond my comprehending
Cause me to rest in Christ.
I will be anxious for nothing
(I cast my cares)
Make my request with thanksgiving
(You care for me)
I know You are faithful, faithful to the end
Your promises are yes and amen
So let the peace that passes understanding
Guard my heart and mind.
Let the peace beyond my comprehending
Cause me to rest in Christ.
I will think on things above
True and noble, pure and just
Things compelling me to love
Worthy of praise and virtuous
Let the peace that passes understanding
Guard my heart and mind.
Let the peace beyond my comprehending
Cause me to rest in Christ.
[x2]
Let it cause me to rest in Christ.
