Born Dead is the second studio album by American heavy metal band Body Count. The album was released on September 6, 1994. Among other tracks, the album features a cover of Billy Roberts' "Hey Joe," performed in the style of Jimi Hendrix' recording of the song, as originally featured on the Are You Experienced album. Body Count's cover of the song was first featured on the Hendrix tribute album Stone Free: A Tribute to Jimi Hendrix. In the liner notes, Ice-T dedicates the album "to all the people of color throughout the entire world; Asian, Latino, Native American, Hawaiian, Italian, Indian, Persian, African, Aboriginal and any other nationality that white supremists would love to see born dead."Born Dead peaked at #74 on the Billboard 200.
"Fuckin' Perfect" (stylized "Perfect" on the clean version, and as "F**kin' Perfect" on the main cover) is a song by American recording artist Pink, taken from her first greatest hits album Greatest Hits... So Far!!! (2010). It was released on December 14, 2010 by LaFace Records, JIVE Records, and RCA Records as the album's second single. Written by Pink with Max Martin and Shellback, the track is a pop rock number which encourages people to accept each other for their true identities.
Pink has stated that the main inspiration behind the track is her husband, Carey Hart. Its music video, directed by longtime collaborator Dave Meyers, delivers a message against depression, self-harm and suicide. In November 2011, the song garnered a Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Solo Performance. "Fuckin' Perfect" peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Pink's eleventh top-ten hit single in the United States.
In 2011, "Fuckin' Perfect" was ranked at number-fourteen on the "Top 40 Year-End Chart", behind her previous single "Raise Your Glass", based on Mediabase.
"Perfect" is a single by Princess Superstar. It is the only single from her album My Machine with a music video.
The music video features Princess Superstar in a variety of locations, which includes what looks like a rollerdisco and a 1980s spoof.
The "Perfect (Exceeder)" remix music video features three scantily clad female gymnasts participating in a gymnastics competition. Other male gymnasts showing off complicated moves make brief appearances. Princess Superstar herself, however, is not seen. Despite the immense popularity of the song, the video received poor reviews - cited as being "unoriginal".
On 22 January 2007, a mashup made of "Perfect" and Mason's "Exceeder", called Perfect (Exceeder) was released. "Exceeder", an instrumental song, was mixed with the remixed vocals from "Perfect".
"Perfect" is the Platinum selling single from Vanessa Amorosi's album Somewhere in the Real World. The single was released digitally on 5 April 2008 and physically on 26 April 2008.
Amorosi co-wrote "Perfect" with Australian song writer David Franj and they each brought a different perspective to the theme of love, resulting in a powerful tune. "He was in love with his girlfriend, so his take on it was she's perfect, everything about her is so magnificent. And I'm the other side of love where I'm like that's obsessive and there's hard work in love and what you see as perfect is not necessarily going to be perfect in 20 years time."
Amorosi says "Perfect" is "really a love story by two totally different people. That's my interpretation of it. I mean, it's open to anyone's interpretation but for me love is ... I find it to be quite obsessive. I love the imperfections in a person more so than the perfect things about them. Love can come in different shapes and forms and that's what it's really going on about."
Life is a characteristic distinguishing physical entities having biological processes (such as signaling and self-sustaining processes) from those that do not, either because such functions have ceased (death), or because they lack such functions and are classified as inanimate. Various forms of life exist such as plants, animals, fungi, protists, archaea, and bacteria. The criteria can at times be ambiguous and may or may not define viruses, viroids or potential artificial life as living. Biology is the primary science concerned with the study of life, although many other sciences are involved.
Throughout history there have been many theories about life including materialism, hylomorphism and vitalism. Even today it is a challenge for scientists and philosophers to define life. The smallest contiguous unit of life is called an organism. Organisms are composed of one or more cells, undergo metabolism, maintain homeostasis, can grow, respond to stimuli, reproduce (either sexually or asexually) and, through evolution, adapt to their environment in successive generations. A diverse array of living organisms can be found in the biosphere of Earth, and the properties common to these organisms are a carbon- and water-based cellular form with complex organization and heritable genetic information.
"'Life (Diamonds in the Dark)" is a song by Swedish DJ and producer John Dahlbäck featuring Swedish recording artist Agnes. Dahlbäck originally released the instrumental version of the song called "Life" in February 2012, but later got Swedish singer Agnes to sing the vocals on the re-release. In an interview with American magazine "Billboard" Dahlbäck commented on the co-operation with Agnes; "“She’s one of the biggest pop stars in Sweden, so for me it was a big honor to have her on the track. This may not be what she’d do normally, but she’s very happy with the result.”
The song is released together with three remixes that will accompany the February 25 release. Dahlback selected remixes from Australian upstarts Feenixpawl, fellow Swedish DJs Lunde Bros., and Canadian electro-house artist Lazy Rich.

Life (Japanese: ライフ, Hepburn: Raifu) is a shōjo manga series created by Keiko Suenobu, a manga creator well known for her work on Vitamin and Happy Tomorrow. Life was serialized in Bessatsu Friend, a publication of Kodansha, and deals with many controversial topics such as self-mutilation, bullying, rape, suicide, and manipulation. In 2006, it won the Kodansha Manga Award for shōjo.
The English language version of the manga, published by Tokyopop, was originally rated OT (Older Teen; 16+), but starting with the release of Volume 6 and carrying back over to future reprintings of the previous five, the rating was changed to M (Mature; 18+) for extremely explicit content in that volume. As of June 2008, nine volumes have been released in the United States; Volume 10 was scheduled for a September 2008 release, but on August 31, 2009, Kodansha (original Japanese publisher of the series) announced that they would drop their manga licensing contract with Tokyopop, leaving Life and other well-known series such as Rave Master unfinished, whether permanently or until picked up by other manga publishing companies (Dark Horse Manga and Del Rey Manga have already picked up certain titles). Kodansha also did not offer an explanation for their decision. The future of the English version of the manga is unknown, as Tokyopop itself shut down in May 2011 after they were faced with bankruptcy.
The sound of laughter inside your head
Don't you wish you were born dead
The sound of laughter inside your head
Makes you wish you were born dead
Born dead, you make me fucking sick
No future, no guilt, destined to walk the line of mediocrity
Nothing can become of what is born dead
A society taken in by your wall of smoke
Cloaking your face, a disposable entity
Born with the intent to breathe but never acheiving your goal
The sound of laughter inside your head
Don't you wish you were born dead
The sound of laughter inside your head
Makes you wish you were born dead
Born dead, you make me fucking sick!
The entire human race will acknowledge you as the earth's biggest mistake
Existence is defective by nature, as we lie in our own filth and stagnate
Failure was inevitable
Close your eyes, and pray that you don't wake up
Lay in your own filth, you have no future, no guilt
Destined to walk the line of mediocrity
We, we took your soul, there was no remorse as we dug your grave
You were a cancer and we cut you out
We, we took your soul, there was no remorse as we buried you
And there will be no tears as we spit upon your grave
The sound of laughter inside your head
Don't you wish you were born dead
The sound of laughter inside your head
Makes you wish you were born dead
