Todd Boyce
Todd Boyce (born 1961) is an Anglo-American actor known for playing amongst other roles the character Stephen Reid in the British television soap opera Coronation Street.
Early and personal life
Todd was born in Columbus, Ohio. Raised in New York, Germany, Chicago and Brazil, at age 16 he moved with his family to Australia. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (Sydney, Australia) in 1983. He lives in London.
Career
Todd Boyce graduated from Sydney Church of England Grammar School (S.C.E.G.S.) in December 1979 and joined the Australian soap opera The Restless Years in January 1980. He attended the National Institute of Dramatic Art (N.I.D.A.) the following year. After graduating from NIDA he went on to star in the mini-series Fields of Fire. Boyce debuted in Coronation Street as Audrey Roberts' illegitimate son Stephen Reid in 1996. He has appeared in 32 episodes of the series ranging between 1996 and 2007. Boyce stars in the E4 comedy drama Beaver Falls as Bobby Jefferson, Head of Camp. In January 2012 he made a guest appearance in the British drama "Sherlock". In August 2012, he made a guest appearance in Hollyoaks as Herb. In 2013 he made a guest appearance in Mr. Selfridge.

Stoa
A stoa (/ˈstoʊə/; plural, stoas,stoai, or stoae /ˈstoʊ.iː/), in ancient Greek architecture, is a covered walkway or portico, commonly for public use. Early stoas were open at the entrance with columns, usually of the Doric order, lining the side of the building; they created a safe, enveloping, protective atmosphere.
Later examples were built as two stories, with a roof supporting the inner colonnades where shops or sometimes offices were located. They followed Ionic architecture. These buildings were open to the public; merchants could sell their goods, artists could display their artwork, and religious gatherings could take place. Stoas usually surrounded the marketplaces of large cities.
The name of the Stoic school of philosophy derives from "stoa".

Tom Odell
Thomas Peter Odell (born 24 November 1990) is an English singer-songwriter. He released his debut extended play, Songs from Another Love, in 2012 and won the BRITs Critics' Choice Award in early 2013. His debut studio album, Long Way Down, was issued on 24 June 2013.
Early life
Odell was born in Chichester, West Sussex, to an airline pilot father and a primary school teacher mother. He has an older sister He spent part of his childhood in New Zealand because of his father's job. He was educated at Seaford College He studied piano classically to Grade 7. He began writing his own songs at the age of thirteen but told no one, because he felt it was "uncool".
At the age of eighteen, Odell abandoned plans to attend the University of York and attempted to gain a place at a music college in Liverpool. He appeared at open-mic events nightly: "It was full of humiliation: dragging a keyboard round, turning up to find out I’d been taken off the bill, gangs of lads grabbing the mic off me and laughing... I learnt to perform and learnt what songs work." After a year, he moved back to Chichester after being made redundant from his job as a barman. Using his grandmother's car, he travelled regularly to London to play shows and to put advertisements in music schools. He studied at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music playing as part of the band Tom and the Tides before moving to London in 2010. Tom and The Tides recorded the song "Spider" for the Brighton Institute of Modern Music student album "What's Inside Your Head Vol.3". However, he later decided to become a solo artist because he "didn't want to have to rely on people".

Sweeney Todd
Sweeney Todd is a fictional character who first appeared as the protagonist of the Victorian penny dreadful The String of Pearls (1846–47).
The tale became a staple of Victorian melodrama and London urban legend, and has been retold many times since, most notably in the Tony award-winning Broadway musical by Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler.
Claims that Sweeney Todd was a historical person are strongly disputed by scholars, although possible legendary prototypes exist.
Plot synopsis
In the original version of the tale, Todd is a barber who dispatches his victims by pulling a lever as they sit in his barber chair. His victims fall backward down a revolving trapdoor into the basement of his shop, generally causing them to break their necks or skulls. In case they are alive, Todd goes to the basement and "polishes them off" (slitting their throats with his straight razor). In some adaptations, the murdering process is reversed, with Todd slitting his customers' throats before dispatching them into the basement through the revolving trapdoor. After Todd has robbed his dead victims of their goods, Mrs. Lovett, his partner in crime (in some later versions, his friend and/or lover), assists him in disposing of the bodies by baking their flesh into meat pies and selling them to the unsuspecting customers of her pie shop. Todd's barber shop is situated at 186 Fleet Street, London, next to St. Dunstan's church, and is connected to Mrs. Lovett's pie shop in nearby Bell Yard by means of an underground passage. In most versions of the story, he and Mrs. Lovett hire an unwitting orphan boy, Tobias Ragg, to serve the pies to customers.

Based on the first of Dorothy Gilman's popular novels about a senior citizen who joins the CIA, The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax stars Angela Lansbury as Emily Polifax, an elderly woman who feels out of sorts and unsure of what to do with herself after the death of her husband. Her doctor tries to cheer her up by telling her this is a perfect time to try new things and fulfill ambitions set aside earlier in life. Emily decides this is fine advice and takes a shot at the career of her dreams -- she writes a letter to her congressman asking how one goes about becoming a CIA agent. Her doctor tries to cheer her up by telling her this is a perfect time to try new things and fulfill ambitions set aside earlier in life. Emily decides this is fine advice and takes a shot at the career of her dreams -- she writes a letter to her congressman asking how one goes about becoming a CIA agent. The letter is passed along and the CIA agrees to an interview. However, Emily is mistakenly sent on a mission to Morocco before anyone realizes she isn't actually an agent, and operative Jack Farrell (Thomas Ian Griffith) is sent out to keep an eye on her. When Emily and Jack are unexpectedly taken hostage, Jack discovers Mrs. Pollifax is far more clever and resourceful than anyone expected. Times Square Arts, the public art division of the Times Square Alliance, presented a first Residency Artist Talk, Artists At The Crossroads on February 1, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at The TimesCenter, 242 West 41st Street, New York, NY 10036. The event is free and open to the public.
Kate Crawford, professor, author and founding member of Deep Lab, New York - a collaborative group of cyberfeminist researchers, artists, writers, engineers, and cultural producers - will serve as the moderator with artists R. Luke DuBois and Okwui Okpokwasili, the first two Residency At The Crossroads artists. DuBois and Okpokwasili will both discuss their own residencies over the past year. From their vastly different practices, each will explore how the unique environment and culturally diverse audience intersects with the business improvement district infrastructure and stakeholder data to help them support their work in Times Square, the world's most iconic public space frequented by 215,000 - 420,000 people a day.
Artist R. Luke DuBois is Co-Director of Integrated Digital Media at NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering and the first Residency At The Crossroads Artist. During his residency, DuBois created a continuous video portrait of Times Square, relying on a matrix of webcams that already existed onsite, to create an accelerated video of 90 days’ worth of activity compressed into video art. As part of the piece, he worked with artists who performed simple, repetitive acts designed to be recognized within the accelerated video and contrast with the fast-paced bustle of Times Square all around them.
