It's a surprisingly simple database platform that's ultra customizable if you spend some time with it. 110% the best direction you can go for your described idea of amassing, tagging, and searching for materials/inputs

Dude, it was awesome for 99% of it. My buddy is a part of the National Guard and its their armory, so it was pretty legit for us to come in.

People who came in the main doors (18+ on one side, 21+ on the other) dealt with more bullshit crowds, but the inside space was great and he killed it on set.

That's rough, but glad you turned it around.

I left for college and grad school years ago and didn't stay close with any of those guys. A beer when home for the holidays, but that's about it. 5 kids I grew up with in a middle-class suburb, all dead from ODs. Shit is fucked up. Started with pills, ended with smack.

What types of drugs? Like an acid trip (or a few dozen) that made him/her lose it? Genuine question. Just lost a hometown buddy to an OD on Wednesday. Don't do drugs. Quit drugs. Fuck drugs.

Yep - confirming. I listen to NPR, HypeM, Podcast Addict and Google Play – all work seamlessly for playback control and volume adjustment. I'm blowing minds with it on a regular basis on the NYC subways :)

I interned on this account at their SF ad agency. Despite trying to get decent (see: not those guys) work made, the client always forced that bullshit to be produced

Martin is actually much mid to later in life creatives. Richmond VA, where they're based, is a city you can raise a family and have a work/life balance. This doesn't factor in their newly created NYC office (which is very very small still)

Source: I work at a top US agency and have worked alongside Martin, and interviewed there.
