Allison Adams – Co-founder, Oxford Exchange
Allison Adams is the Co-founder and
Director of Oxford Exchange, an
English inspired restaurant, bookstore, boutique, coffee house and gathering space. Oxford Exchange was born of an idea of her brother,
Blake Casper, who spent four years living in
London. As business partners and third-generation owner-operators of
McDonald’s restaurants, Allison and Blake wanted to create a social gathering place for the community – a place that
Tampa could call their own.
Together, they opened the Oxford Exchange in a downtown Tampa space that was originally built in 1891 as a stable for the Plant
Hotel. Their location has expanded to 24,
000 square feet. Every aspect of the venue was carefully planned to create a unique experience and a community among their customers. The items in the gift shop and bookstore are carefully curated, the food in the restaurant is made with fresh ingredients by a local chef, and the coffeehouse and tea shop are run by local partners,
Buddy Brew
Coffee and TeBella Tea
Company. Allison holds a JD from
Southern Methodist University and a
Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration in Marketing from the
University of Florida.
