LAKE is a group of cloudy individuals brought together through lines drawn along Interstate-5, intersecting in Olympia around 2005. Since forming, they have gained and lost members, recorded 12 full length albums (only 3 of which have seen proper release), played across the world supporting such talented acts as Adrian Orange and Her Band, Half Handed Cloud, Laura Veirs, and Bonnie 'Prince' Billy. The sounds they craft are straight from the playbook of the good parts of Billy Joel, Fleetwood Mac, and Turkish psychedelic music. Caressing the Rhodes piano, endearing drum fills, guitars that don't sound like guitars, and some slamming bass lines: listening to LAKE is like pouring sugar in your ears. A water-sucking vortex has opened up on Lake Texoma, which is located along the border of Texas and Oklahoma.
Though it looks fierce and dangerous, the authorities have expressed that there’s little cause for concern.
The hole developed as a result of controlled draining methods, initiated due to the water level being too high after heavy rains.
The development of the twister was likened to what happens when a bathtub is emptied. These holes can get large enough to swallow a full-size boat.
It’s been noted that buoys have been set up around the aquatic twister to keep people out of harm’s way.

High diving is the act of diving into water from relatively great heights. High diving can be performed as an adventure sport (as with cliff diving), as a performance stunt (as with many records attempts), or competitively during sporting events. It debuted as a sport at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona. In the world championships, men jump from a 27-metre-high (89 ft) platform while women jump from a 20-metre-high (66 ft) platform. In other official competitions, men generally dive from a height of 22–27 metres (72–89 ft) while women dive from a height of 18–23 metres (59–75 ft). The sport is unique in that athletes are often unable to practice in an authentic environment until the days leading up to a competition. High diving has been designated a sport separate from regular diving by FINA. High divers have achieved speeds of descent of 96 kilometres per hour (60 mph).

Bass fishing in a freaking HOT TUB!!! Before today, the warmest water I had ever fished was in the mid-low 80s... Fishing with LakeForkGuy, we tackled a power plant lake in Texas with water temps that nearly reached 100 degrees!!! One would think boiling hot water would completely shut down the bass bite, but amazingly, that was not the case. However, these RIDICULOUS water temps yielded another challenge, an obstacle that made it nearly impossible for us to land these chunky bass...

Lake
A lake is an area of variable size filled with water, localized in a basin, that is surrounded by land, apart from any river or other outlet that serves to feed or drain the lake. Lakes lie on land and are not part of the ocean (except for sea lochs in Scotland and Ireland), and therefore are distinct from lagoons, and are also larger and deeper than ponds, though there are no official or scientific definitions. Lakes can be contrasted with rivers or streams, which are usually flowing. However most lakes are fed and drained by rivers and streams.
Natural lakes are generally found in mountainous areas, rift zones, and areas with ongoing glaciation. Other lakes are found in endorheic basins or along the courses of mature rivers. In some parts of the world there are many lakes because of chaotic drainage patterns left over from the last Ice Age. All lakes are temporary over geologic time scales, as they will slowly fill in with sediments or spill out of the basin containing them.
Many lakes are artificial and are constructed for industrial or agricultural use, for hydro-electric power generation or domestic water supply, or for aesthetic or recreational purposes.

Then it’s time to start jumping off stuff and get dragged around the lake behind the world’s most powerful WaveRunner. From Wikipedia: High diving is the act of diving into water from relatively great heights. High diving can be performed as an adventure sport (as with cliff diving), as a performance stunt (as with many records attempts), or competitively during sporting events. Then it’s time to start jumping off stuff and get dragged around the lake behind the world’s most powerful WaveRunner. Blakely joined the other kids in the bravery category and started jumping off the top of the dock, although secretly she prefers jumping off the lower part of the dock.

High diving can be performed as an adventure sport (as with cliff diving), as a performance stunt (as with many records attempts), or competitively during sporting events. It debuted as a sport at the 2013 World Aquatics Championships in Barcelona. In the world championships, men jump from a 27-metre-high (89 ft) platform while women jump from a 20-metre-high (66 ft) platform. In other official competitions, men generally dive from a height of 22–27 metres (72–89 ft) while women dive from a height of 18–23 metres (59–75 ft).
