Speaking to Woman’s Day Flick, Lee, El and Kristie say all suffered terribly at hands of the TV series, confessing to experiencing everything from hallucination, rapid weight loss and even loss of toes!

“I wasn’t sleeping, I had gastro and no appetite,” Flick told the publication, adding that she ended up having hallucinations.

Kristie admitted to losing two of her big toenails while El says she lost a whopping 10kgs – “For the first time in my life, I understood what real hunger felt like,” she said.

In a recent interview with News Corp, host Jonathan LaPaglia said being on the TV show was a lot harder than it looked.

“It was just non-stop every day. I literally had one day off — that I had to fight for — in the entire 58 days I was on the island.

media_cameraHost Jonathan LaPaglia agrees they were all put in tough conditions.

“I was totally unprepared for how much work was going to be involved in this job. It’s way harder than it looks.”

The Survivor winner will be revealed across the finale episodes, which air tonight and tomorrow night on Ten from 7.30pm.
