I wrote this after being inspired by (Love Theme) from MGS 4 and decided to make a quick
video after I was done with it.
No doubt, the MGS series potrays the true state that the planet we love is in. War ravages.
This is about war, how I see it. How every soldier cries and hurt fromt he guilt of bringing
death. How every shot, tears their soul. Every life taken destroys their heart.
The untammed cries of the night echoes violently and the death of the innocent and undeserving.
Newborns passes away before their first hour, Children.. before their parents. Kids who never
had the chance to experience teenagehood, teenagers who will never know their future. With every
pull of the trigger. The chain of fate and the cogs of destiny of a soul shatters.
They said one day, a comet will destroy our planet. I believe, it'll be nuclear weapons and weapons
of mass destruction. Inspired by these davastation, I present to you.. "A Broken Era" by me.

War has changed,
Even the people,
Culture has changed.
The once honorable battle of survival,

Smiles turn to frowns,
Many have lost their loved ones,
And even more have lost the person they'd meet and love,

They lay and wait to be loved.
Explosion glows the midnight skies,
Blood rains on the peaceful earth,
What was once the ground of life,
Is now the bearer of death and decay.
Death looms,
Souls are for hire.
For when?
When will we learn?
How our soul is,
Peace seeking and hatred of destruction.
We work hard to stay alive,
Earn a living,
Raise a family,
And in one moment it all turns into a memory.

Quietly hiding it,
Everytime he pulls the trigger,
Mour for the soon to be dead...
By his own hands.
Will the human race ever stop?
Or will the human race stop altogether.
Will it be too late to realise?
Will there be anything?
Men of war screams,
I have to end this,
All the pointless killing,
Must all stop... I must end this.
We are all tired of the killing,
We are all children of the earth,
Why do we have to kill amongst sibling.
For our brothers and sisters,
For our parents,
For our loved ones,
For the human race.
Stop the war,
Stop the destruction,
Stop the killing,
Learn to share and communicate.
Unite and Grow,
Heal and Support,
Love and be loved.
Stop the wars,

This is the most depressing piece of Science Fiction I've ever produced.
Text:
'Hear me, rebellious denizens of Ceren; many times have I offered you the chance to surrender. Many times have I tolerated your audacity and invited your world to live under my divine rule and protection. Your incessant defiance however has brought you beyond any hope of forgiveness. My patience is exhausted and you have proved yourselves undeserving of my mercy. Today your treacherous world shall be reduced to ashes. All that you are, and have ever been, shall be removed from the face of existence.'
The voice seemed to come from the clouds. More mechanical trickery from the so-called 'Allmaster' no doubt.
For a long time after his speech, nothing seemed to happen. Knara sat cross legged upon the tall hills outside of her town, the same as she had done a hundred times before. She watched the spires and shining white roofs of her home standing as stoic as ever. The town shined with all its beauty, as if daring the Beasts above to defile it.
It was, of course, deserted now. Everyone had fled to the woods or mountains, trying to seek out hidden spots of natural seclusion upon which the enemy might choose not to fire. Her family had fled too; they had not, it seemed, made much effort to find her when she ran up to the hills at night.
She tried to picture Jykin sat beside her, their hands clasped together, staring out over the green and orange landscape, content of its unshakable constancy. If she looked for him she would find only air and grass and trees. With her eyes pinned forward though, he was there; just out of sight but there all the same. They had both spent so much time up here, how else could it possibly end?
The first shots tore through the sky, leaving black trails in their wake. A bright red flash and a furious howl of destruction sent Knara hurtling forward, her hands pressed against her ears, her eyes shut tightly. She screamed at the sudden chaos, trying to force it away.
The first impact reduced the cathedral and the nearby houses to dust. The next levelled a hospital near Toraqk avenue. Each torturous blast took away another piece of Knara's home. Still she lay on the floor and screamed; it was the only thing left to do.
People screamed all over Ceren, casting forth their terror and outrage, willing all the darkness to disappear under the sheer weight of their fury. But that had never been enough to save them before and now, on the final day of the war, it served only as their dying breath.
The epitaph of Ceren was thousands of screams, drowned out by the sounds of Armageddon, dissolved into the air of a murdered world which no one would speak of again, and no one would ever remember.

She watched the spires and shining white roofs of her home standing as stoic as ever. The town shined with all its beauty, as if daring the Beasts above to defile it. It was, of course, deserted now. Everyone had fled to the woods or mountains, trying to seek out hidden spots of natural seclusion upon which the enemy might choose not to fire. Her family had fled too; they had not, it seemed, made much effort to find her when she ran up to the hills at night. She tried to picture Jykin sat beside her, their hands clasped together, staring out over the green and orange landscape, content of its unshakable constancy. If she looked for him she would find only air and grass and trees. With her eyes pinned forward though, he was there; just out of sight but there all the same. They had both spent so much time up here, how else could it possibly end? The first shots tore through the sky, leaving black trails in their wake. A bright red flash and a furious howl of destruction sent Knara hurtling forward, her hands pressed against her ears, her eyes shut tightly. She screamed at the sudden chaos, trying to force it away. The first impact reduced the cathedral and the nearby houses to dust. The next levelled a hospital near Toraqk avenue. Each torturous blast took away another piece of Knara's home. Still she lay on the floor and screamed; it was the only thing left to do. People screamed all over Ceren, casting forth their terror and outrage, willing all the darkness to disappear under the sheer weight of their fury. But that had never been enough to save them before and now, on the final day of the war, it served only as their dying breath. The epitaph of Ceren was thousands of screams, drowned out by the sounds of Armageddon, dissolved into the air of a murdered world which no one would speak of again, and no one would ever remember. -

video after I was done with it.
No doubt, the MGS series potrays the true state that the planet we love is in. War ravages.
This is about war, how I see it. How every soldier cries and hurt fromt he guilt of bringing
death. How every shot, tears their soul. Every life taken destroys their heart.
The untammed cries of the night echoes violently and the death of the innocent and undeserving.
Newborns passes away before their first hour, Children.. before their parents. Kids who never
had the chance to experience teenagehood, teenagers who will never know their future. With every
pull of the trigger. The chain of fate and the cogs of destiny of a soul shatters.

This is the most depressing piece of Science Fiction I've ever produced.
Text:
'Hear me, rebellious denizens of Ceren; many times have I offered you the chance to surrender. Many times have I tolerated your audacity and invited your world to live under my divine rule and protection. Your incessant defiance however has brought you beyond any hope of forgiveness. My patience is exhausted and you have proved yourselves undeserving of my mercy. Today your treacherous world shall be reduced to ashes. All that you are, and have ever been, shall be removed from the face of existence.'
The voice seemed to come from the clouds. More mechanical trickery from the so-called 'Allmaster' no doubt.
For a long time after his speech, nothing seemed to happen. Knara sat cross legged upon the tall hills outside of her town, the same as she had done a hundred times before. She watched the spires and shining white roofs of her home standing as stoic as ever. The town shined with all its beauty, as if daring the Beasts above to defile it.
It was, of course, deserted now. Everyone had fled to the woods or mountains, trying to seek out hidden spots of natural seclusion upon which the enemy might choose not to fire. Her family had fled too; they had not, it seemed, made much effort to find her when she ran up to the hills at night.
She tried to picture Jykin sat beside her, their hands clasped together, staring out over the green and orange landscape, content of its unshakable constancy. If she looked for him she would find only air and grass and trees. With her eyes pinned forward though, he was there; just out of sight but there all the same. They had both spent so much time up here, how else could it possibly end?
The first shots tore through the sky, leaving black trails in their wake. A bright red flash and a furious howl of destruction sent Knara hurtling forward, her hands pressed against her ears, her eyes shut tightly. She screamed at the sudden chaos, trying to force it away.
The first impact reduced the cathedral and the nearby houses to dust. The next levelled a hospital near Toraqk avenue. Each torturous blast took away another piece of Knara's home. Still she lay on the floor and screamed; it was the only thing left to do.
People screamed all over Ceren, casting forth their terror and outrage, willing all the darkness to disappear under the sheer weight of their fury. But that had never been enough to save them before and now, on the final day of the war, it served only as their dying breath.
The epitaph of Ceren was thousands of screams, drowned out by the sounds of Armageddon, dissolved into the air of a murdered world which no one would speak of again, and no one would ever remember.

This dialogue exploring how sexism against either women or men robs all of us of value and worth was protested by a loose coalition of groups. In Part 1 you can hear Dr. Katherine Young discussing the importance of empathy and communication, then Dr. Paul Nathanson courageously shares the story of how his being gay as a youth gave him insights into the constraints imposed by gender roles.
All of this is meanwhile being loudly protested by groups outside the hall, including the University of Toronto Students Union, CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees), and the University-sanctioned and funded OPIRG (Ontario Public Interest Research Group).
This video, Part 2 and the Q & A do not contain distractions from protests outside, as protestors forced their own evacuation from the building by pulling the first alarm at the end of this Part 1 video (about 9 minutes into the event).
