and to take pictures at each location. The pictures, and

overview The project is an organized sampling of the world. There is a confluence within 49 miles (79 km) of you if you're on the surface of Earth. We've discounted confluences in the oceans and some near the poles, but there are still 9,911 to be found. You're invited to help by photographing any one of these places. Five new confluences in Russia Valera Parshukov made a confluence journey (4600 km long) and visited five new confluences that completed two regions, Chelaybinsk and Orenburg. Starting from 54°N 62°E. Russia hits 1000 successful confluence visits! A Confluence Geo-Gathering We are less than 1 year away from the total solar eclipse on 21 August 2017 whose centerline of totality passes almost exactly over 44N-114W. You are informally invited to meet up and join other confluencers to experience this awesome event at a cool confluence.
