today's weather Today's Weather
A rather chilly start with some pockets of mist and fog and a touch of grass frost in places. The best of any hazy sunshine will be in eastern areas this morning. Otherwise rather cloudy weather today with a little patchy rain or drizzle, mostly in Western or Midland parts. Top temperatures 11 to 13 C in light to moderate Southerly breezes.

Tonight's Weather
Tonight will be mainly dry apart from a few showers. A good deal of cloud but some breaks occurring especially in the East. Becoming breezy along the West coast. Min 3 to 7C.

today's weather Tomorrow
Saturday will be a dry day for most places with a mixture of cloud and sunny intervals. The odd shower will occur, drifting in off Southern or Irish Sea coasts. Max 11 to 13 degrees in a freshening East to Southeast wind.

3 Day Outlook
Sunday will be a cool and windy day with fresh and gusty Easterly winds, very blustery along Southern and Irish Sea coastal areas. Many places will stay dry with some sunny spells but some showers are likely to affect Eastern parts of Ulster and Leinster. \nLater in the day, or it may hold off until Sunday night, some rain is likely to clip the South Munster and South Leinster coast where the winds will pick up further, but it will remain dry elsewhere except for a few showers.

There is still the risk of some rain in the far South on Monday but, apart from the odd shower, it looks like the rest of the county will stay dry with some sunny spells. The winds will ease and highest temperatures will be around 11 to 13 degrees and it will turn cold on Monday night with some fog and frost.

Much of Tuesday should be dry with light winds but later in the day and for the rest of the week we will see an Atlantic regime becoming established. With this some rain is likely at times, especially in the West and North. But high pressure is expected to lie to the South of Ireland which will bring a lot of dry weather overall to Southern parts. After a cool start, from mid week onwards it is expected to turn a bit milder with daytime temperatures getting into the low to mid teens and with frost not likely overnight. It will be breezy or windy a lot of the time.
