Blythe is a name that comes from Middle English, and in turn from Old English bliþe ("joyous, kind, cheerful, pleasant"), and further back, from Proto-Germanic *blithiz ("gentle, kind"). Its cognates include Old Saxon bliði ("bright, happy"), Middle Dutch blide, Dutch blijde, Old Norse bliðr ("mild, gentle"), Old High German blidi ("gay, friendly") and Gothic bleiþs ("kind, friendly, merciful"). No cognates outside the Germanic languages are known.

I shared a poll some video before about which types of dolls should I customize. Some of you voted of BLYTHE dolls. You asked it, so here is the first part of the customization proccess:) This is how I carved my newest Blythe doll, Odeletta. She is a legit Blythe doll "Disco Boogie". Taking her apart was a bit hard, because of her headtype, but I resolved it at the end ;-) I hope you will find this video helpful to create your own custom Blythe doll:) I used these tools: - carving knife - rootary tool (Mannesmann Mini Drill set) - grit 400 sandpaper - magic sponge 1st episode: carving (this video) 2nd episode: changing the eyechips https://youtu.be/dXJbgxP6ZDc 3rd episode: repainting https://youtu.be/hofusQY8FXI ♥ Webpage/blog: http://unniedolls.com ♥ Etsy Shop: http://unniedolls.etsy....

How can you tell the fake Blythe dolls (also known as factory dolls) from the real Blythe dolls from Takara Tomy? There are so many fake Blythe dolls on the market these days that is can be confusing, but I break down some of the differences between the two types of Blythe dolls in this fake (aka factory) dolls versus real Blythe dolls video. How to Make Sleep Eyes in a Custom Blythe Doll In this video I will show you how to make your custom Blythe doll have sleep eyes. The process is done by removing the spring in the original doll and replacing it with a second pull string. The two string method allows you to pull the string and the eyes will stay closed (sleeping) until you pull the other string to open them and reveal the next set of eyes. I hope this is helpful! Have a nice day ~! Y O U T...
Blythe
Take me along
Way past the tin cans and sand man
It's Thursday's old song
Bet you didn't know that I knew
You told the truth
The minute you walked out the door that I trotted into
Yet my love for you will never fade
Like these past couple months
And the memories and mistakes we made
Yeah my love for you will never fade
Cause you took me somewhere that I wouldn't have dared
You saved me baby
Kite
Flying alone
In a desert gas station motel pool and free local phone
Bet you didn't know that I knew
Still in my youth
That the poems of lust and of trust
Form no tangible truth
Yet love for you will never fade
Like these past couple months
And the memories and mistakes we made
Yeah my love for you will never fade
Cause you took me somewhere that I wouldn't have dared
You saved me baby
Bet you didn't know that I knew
You were the muse
With a flame in your hand and a lariat trick for a fuse
Yet love for you will never fade
Like these past couple months
And the memories and mistakes we made
Yeah my love for you will never fade
Cause you took me somewhere
That I couldn't have dared
You saved me baby
