Richmond-based TMI Consulting Inc. has been selected to present a workshop at the annual South by Southwest Conference on March 10-19 in Austin, Texas.
TMI Consulting’s Tiffany Jana and Matthew Freeman are scheduled to present a workshop titled “Overcoming Bias: Relationships Across Difference.”
“We’ll explore the latest research on how we are wired to be biased and through interactive activities show how we can overcome unconscious preferences to enrich our lives,” Jana said in a statement.
Tens of thousands of people from around the world attend the South by Southwest Conference, often referred to as SXSW.
Presented since 1987, it focuses on trends and hot topics in arts, technology and business and features dozens of presentations.
