Daisy Rebecca Lowe (born 27 January 1989) is an English fashion model who has modeled for editorial photo shoots, commercial advertising campaigns and at fashion shows. She is the daughter of Pearl Lowe, the singer-songwriter turned textile and fashion designer, and Gavin Rossdale, lead singer for Bush.
Lowe was born in Westminster, London, England. She grew up in Primrose Hill, north London, and stayed with grandparents to continue her education at South Hampstead High School when her mother, Pearl Lowe, moved to Hampshire. Lowe has two younger half-brothers and a half-sister from her mother's marriage to Danny Goffey; Alfie, Frankie and Betty. She also has three younger half-brothers from her father's marriage to Gwen Stefani; Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.
Until 2004, Lowe was believed to be the daughter of Pearl Lowe's ex-lover Bronner Handwerger, but a paternity test revealed that her godfather, Bush singer/guitarist Gavin Rossdale, was, in fact, her biological father. Her mother Pearl Lowe wrote about the situation in her book, All That Glitters. Daisy's paternity was not questioned early on, and Pearl listed "Bronner Lowe" on Daisy's birth certificate without informing Lowe that he may not be the father. At age 14, Daisy found out neither Bronner nor her mother shared her O-type blood. She mistakenly thought that one parent must share her blood type and that Bronner could not be her father (based on a common misunderstanding of blood type inheritance). Daisy confronted her mother, who admitted to a one-night stand with Rossdale. Daisy and Pearl's lawyers arranged a paternity test, which Rossdale at first refused. Results confirmed Rossdale was her biological father.
Aljaž Škorjanec (born 19 February 1990) is a Slovenian professional dancer. He grew up in the town of Slovenska Bistrica in eastern Slovenia. He is a 19-time Slovenian champion in Ballroom, Latin and Ten Dance. He has cited his favourite dances as the Pasodoble because "it’s strong and masculine" and the Foxtrot as "everything is fluid and it feels like every move lasts forever".
In 2013, he featured in Series 11 of the BBC One hit show Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Abbey Clancy. On 16 November 2013, they received their first "10s" of the competition, during "Blackpool week" when they performed their Quickstep. On 30 November 2013, they became the first couple that year to score a perfect "40", during Musicals Week. On 21 December 2013, they became the 11th winners of the competition. He was the fourth pro dancer to win the show in his first series of Strictly Come Dancing.
He currently stars in Burn the Floor with some other Strictly Come Dancing professionals. In 2014, Škorjanec returned for the twelfth series. He was partnered with "This Morning" reporter, Alison Hammond, they were the sixth couple to be eliminated from the competition. He also returned to the show in 2015, and was partnered with Call the Midwife actress Helen George.
Come Dancing was a British ballroom dancing competition show that ran on and off on the BBC from 1949 to 1998, becoming one of television's longest-running shows.
The show was created by Eric Morley, the founder of Miss World, and began in 1949 by broadcasting from regional ballroom studios, with professional dancers Syd Perkin and Edna Duffield on hand to offer teaching.
In 1953 the format changed to become a competition, with later series seeing regions of the United Kingdom going head to head for the coveted trophy.
The many presenters over the years included Peter West, McDonald Hobley, Charles Nove, Terry Wogan, Brian Johnston, Angela Rippon, Michael Aspel, Noel Edmonds, David Jacobs, Judith Chalmers, Pete Murray, and Rosemarie Ford. Commentators included Ray Moore and Bruce Hammal.
In 2004, a re-launched celebrity version entitled Strictly Come Dancing, hosted by Bruce Forsyth (2004–13), Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman (2014–) debuted on BBC One, and became a popular hit on Saturday evenings. The title is a nonsensical pastiche of the titles of both the 1992 Australian film Strictly Ballroom and Come Dancing. The format of the newer show has been successfully exported to other countries under the name Dancing with the Stars.
Strictly Come Dancing (informally known as Strictly) is a British television show, featuring celebrities with professional dance partners competing in a Ballroom and Latin dance competition. Each couple is scored out of 10 by a panel of judges. The title of the show suggests a continuation of the long-running series Come Dancing, with an allusion to the film Strictly Ballroom. The format has been exported to over 40 other countries (see Dancing with the Stars), and has also inspired a modern-dance themed spin-off Strictly Dance Fever. The show is currently presented by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
The show has run on BBC One since 15 May 2004, primarily on Saturday evenings with a following Sunday night results show (with certain exceptions). The thirteenth series ended on 19 December 2015. a further eleven stand-alone Christmas specials have also been produced, in consecutive years from 2004 to 2014. Nine charity specials have also been produced since 2008. Since the fourth series, the show has also been aired in high definition on BBC HD, and BBC One HD from series 8.

English model Daisy Lowe names the worst pickup line she's ever heard, reveals how she stays in supermodel shape.
Ev'rybody wants somethin' for nothin'.
Yeah, they all want it fo free.
These days, now nothin' cost ya somethin'.
No tellin' what it could be.
Never happen if ya never try.
All the nights awake and the tears we've cried
Could fill the seven seas.
So, c'mon, ev'rybody, c'mon, ev'rybody,
We got to give ourselves, got to give ourselves a hand.
And if we feel it's all a mess, yeah, yeah,
Why don't we try a little, try a little lve 'n' tenderness.
If we got more than comes around, yeah, yeah,
Why don't we care a little, share a little.
Sure to come back around. Guitar!
Lately everybody's thinkin'
Me, my, only I thinkin' for me.
Here lately, everbody's talkin', baby.
But we all know that talk is cheap.
We can make it happen if we make a try.
All the nights awake and the tears we've cried
Could fill the seven seas.
So, c'mon, ev'rybody, c'mon, ev'rybody,
We gotta give ourselves, gotta give ourselves a hand, yeah.
And before it falls apart, yeah, yeah,
Why don't we live a little, give a little, straight from the heart.
And if this old world gets ya down, yeah, yeah,
You gotta pick it up and toss it in the air, kick it all around. Kick it!
I don't even know how I wanna say, but I know what I wanna say.
Do you know where I'm comin' from?
As the bass plays on, and still the guitars strum,
While the Colonel beats the drum, so the whole band plays along,
And the whole world sings a song, yeah,
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And before it falls apart, yeah, yeah,
Live a little, give a little, straight from the heart.
If this whole world gets ya down, yeah, yeah,
You gotta pick it up and toss it in the air. Kick it all around.
And if you don't like the way the music plays, the way it sounds,
Hop back in the kitchen, change it all around.
Stir it up, baby. Stir it up, baby, stir it up,
Stir it up, stir it up, stir it up,
Stir it up now, stir it up, baby.
Stir it up, baby, stir it up, baby, stir it up,
Stir it up, stir it up, stir it up, stir it up,
Stir it up now, stir it up, baby. And you know:
Nobody gets somethin' for nothin'.
Nobody's gettin' it for free. [Spoken:] But you know
These days now nothin' costs ya somethin', baby.
And-a there ain't no tellin what it could be.
So stir it up, baby, stir it up, baby.
Stir it up, baby, stir it up, baby.
Stir, stir it up, baby, stir it up, baby.
