Heather Anne Campbell is an American Emmy nominated writer, sketch comedian, and improv comedy performer.
Born in Chicago, IL, she began studying improvisational comedy at i.O. when she was 14, learning under such notable alumni as Del Close.
Campbell is an alumna of Amsterdam's Boom Chicago, Northwestern University's The Mee-Ow Show, i.O., i.O. West, and Los Angeles' The Groundlings Sunday Company. Heather performs in and writes for The Midnight Show, a monthly sketch showcase at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, UCB's Last Day of School, and is a performer on the CW's Whose Line Is It Anyway. Campbell was also writer on Cartoon Network's Incredible Crew. From 2013, she began writing for Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show. She also currently writes for FOX's Animation Domination, and is a voice talent behind various short clips on Fox's Animation Domination High-Definition (ADHD) airing on Saturday nights. She has appeared on Comedy Central's @midnight four times.
Anne Campbell (born 6 April 1940) is an English Labour Party politician. She was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Cambridge from 1992 to 2005.
She studied at Newnham College, Cambridge, taking the Maths Tripos, and gaining an MA in 1965.
Before she became an MP she was a councillor on Cambridgeshire County Council from 1985-9. She was a secondary school maths teacher in Cambridgeshire, a lecturer in Statistics at Cambridge College of Arts and Technology (became Anglia Higher Education College in 1989) from 1970 to 1983, and head of Statistics and Data Processing at the National Institute of Agricultural Botany from 1983 to 1992.
She was first elected in the 1992 general election. Under threat of deselection, in 2003 she resigned as Patricia Hewitt's PPS to vote against the Iraq War, having previously voted to support the Government's policy on 26 February. She lost her seat at the 2005 general election to David Howarth of the Liberal Democrats. Campbell's defeat was in part attributed to her perceived indecisiveness over the government's university top-up fee programme: she abstained on the second reading of the bill, then voted with the government on the third reading, despite a public promise that she would oppose the scheme. Campbell was described as a "loyal Blairite" in the national press.
The Last of Us is an action-adventure survival horror video game developed by Naughty Dog and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released for the PlayStation 3 on June 14, 2013. An updated version, The Last of Us Remastered, was released for the PlayStation 4 on July 29, 2014. Players control Joel, a man tasked with escorting a young girl named Ellie across a post-apocalyptic United States.
The Last of Us is played from a third-person perspective; players use firearms and improvised weapons, and can use stealth to defend against hostile humans and cannibalistic creatures infected by a mutated strain of the Cordyceps fungus. "Listen mode" allows players to locate enemies through a heightened sense of hearing and spatial awareness. Players can also upgrade weapons using items scavenged from the environment. In the game's online multiplayer, up to eight players engage in co-operative and competitive gameplay in recreations of single-player settings.
Development of The Last of Us began in 2009, soon after the release of Naughty Dog's previous game, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. The relationship between Joel and Ellie was the central focus of the game, with all other elements developed around it. The team chose Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson to portray Joel and Ellie respectively, who provided voice and motion capture for the roles. Both actors assisted creative director Neil Druckmann with the development of the characters and story. The original score was composed and performed by Gustavo Santaolalla.
"A lot of my friends are pro-marajuana legalization, [believe that] prohibition is a nightmare, and that the prison industrial complex is terrible. They won't describe themselves as libertarian but when you lay out all their points of view for them, that's what the platform is," explains Los Angeles-based writer and comedian Heather Anne Campbell. "And then I found out, some of my closest and best friends are just straight up libertarian." Campbell has written for Saturday Night Live, Cartoon Network's Incredible Crew, The Mightnight Show at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, performed with Drew Carey's Improvaganza and the CW's Who's Line is it Anyway? Currently, she writes for a new block of animated programing called Animation Domination High-Def (ADHD) on the Fox network. The prom...
