Where Are They Now? Paul Reubens - PEE-WEE HERMAN
Lovable, fun, and quirky Pee-Wee Herman stole the show with an acid-trip of a television series and several big-screen productions, but that’s not where his career ended – or even began. In fact, while you may know him as quirky Pee-Wee Herman, his public life and career as Paul Reubens, or Paul Rubenfield if you know him personally, has been, well, colorful to say the least. While Pee-Wee’s Playhouse was Reubens’ claim to fame, his career actually started in the 1978 TV movie Things We Did Last Summer.

Saturday Morning Cartoons | 1991: Channel Surfing Edition | Full Episodes with Commercials
It's Saturday morning, 1991. You want to watch Fox Kids, but your little sister wants to see what's on NBC. Looks like it's time to channel surf through some Saturday morning cartoons.
This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Saturday mornings (from 8 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon) on network television (ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX) in the year 1991. Certain shows (like The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Garfield and Friends, Bobby's World, and Saved by the Bell to name a few) can't be used for copyright reasons. To get around this, we're going to "change the channel" to a show that isn't blocked. Think of this video as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning broadcast.
This is the sixteenth Saturday mor...

John Paragon,‘Pee-wee’s Playhouse' star, dies at 66: Movies & TV Series List
#JohnParagon
John Paragon, the actor who portrayed Jambi the Genie on "Pee-wee's Playhouse," has died. He was 66.
John is best known for his work on children's show Pee-wee's Playhouse where he played Jambi the Genie and voiced Pterri the Pterodactyl. In addition to writing many of the regular season episodes of Pee-wee's Playhouse (1986), John also co-wrote with Paul Reubens the acclaimed "Pee-wee's Playhouse Christmas Special" in 1988, for which they were nominated an Emmy Award for Best Writing in a Children's Special.

CBS Saturday Morning Cartoons | 1992 | Full Episodes with Commercials
It's 1992. Do you know where your Saturday morning cartoons are? That's right, they're on CBS! So adjust those rabbit ears and get ready for some toons.
This is a compilation video I put together using footage of commercials and episodes from shows that played on Saturday mornings (from 8 in the morning to noon) on CBS in the 90's. It follows a 1992 schedule for CBS Saturday mornings, as well as taking inspiration from other years. Certain shows (like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield And Friends, and The Little Mermaid to name a few) can't be used for copyright reasons. These shows were substituted with other great cartoons and shows that played on CBS around the same time. Think of it as a retro remix or a bootleg Saturday morning broadcast.

Pee-wee Herman Complete Collection on Letterman, 1982-85 Recut
Note: A copyright claimant blocked the earlier version of this collection due to the song "Fever" aired at the 2:02:41 mark. This recut version mutes the audio during that segment.
Paul Reubens was another inspired weirdo who found national attention and an artistic home on Late Night. A cult performer in Los Angeles, he developed the character Pee-wee Herman, a giddy juvenile in a suit and bow tie with the irreverent innocence of a character cut from a 1950s sit-com. Reubens had heard from an agent that Johnny Carson was “uncomfortable with the Pee-wee character,” but he proved popular with David Letterman, appearing frequently in long segments filled with silly jokes, prop humor and quips designed to throw the host off guard. “He made fun of me, but he really did seem to genuinely like ...

Bart Wets His Pants | Minisode #1
The first of The Dark Simpsons Minisode. Bart embarrasses himself in front of the town and it slowly eats away at him. Nobody will let him forget it, so he has to take drastic measures.
This was my first attempt at making a 5 minute video, and I'll say I did succeed but when I went back and reviewed my work, I found that I was adding unnecessary content just to reach that 5 minute goal. That was a problem, becuase some of the clips were actually quite weak, so I cut some clips out and brought it down to 4 minutes. And i must say, I think this video turned out quite well.
I used all of the tricks i've learned from my past videos and applied it here. I changed background colors, edit out characters, lip synced voices, photoshop scenes and more to make a nice short mini episode. I'll defini...

This is the sixteenth Saturday morning cartoon compilation video I've uploaded, but the first channel surfing edition one. I thought of this gimmick when I realized, as a kid, I didn't really stay on one network for the entire Saturday morning. I usually flipped around and watched whatever I liked. Apparently I wasn't alone, as I've gotten comments from people saying they used to change the channel as well. Then when I was looking at old television schedules, I realized that could pretty easily avoid copyright blocks by simply "changing the channel" to a show that wasn't copyright blocked. This video was actually completed and uploaded on March 1st, but I had so many videos ahead of it on the schedule that it couldn't come out until May 1st.
For this video, I think it turned out rather well. I got to use a lot of shows that I hadn't featured in previous videos, with the only returning show being Pee-Wee's Playhouse. And while ABC has a lot of shows in this video, I think the other networks were also pretty fairly represented. One issue I came across was the 11:00AM slot, where pretty much the only option there was WWF Superstars. That show runs for an hour, but I don't really like hour long blocks of the same show. Ultimately, I decided to cut it at the 30 minute point for Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and provide a link for the rest of it (which you can find below). I also decided to go beyond noon to show the CBS Storybreak (as well as get in Little Rosey), and I definitely want to do that again with an ABC Weekend Special in a future video. Overall, I think this little "experiment" turned out rather well. I really like the gimmick, and would recommend others use it as well if you're making these kind of compilations. I definitely plan to do more like these in the future. I hope you enjoyed it as well.
If you'd like to watch the rest of that episode of WWF Superstars of Wrestling, you can find it at https://youtu.be/qhjvjA1-cJY?t=1466 (that should start at the exact point where it cuts off in this video).
If you'd like to watch the video in 4:3, you can use www.stretch.site to change the aspect ratio.
If you see Youtube ads (not commercials) on this video, it's because this video was copyright claimed by a variety of different companies, who chose to run ads on my video and take the profit. I have no say in that matter, and make no money from Youtube. I'd recommend installing an ad blocker like ublock if you're on a device where that's possible.
This video is explicitly NOT made for children. The intended audience for this video (and others like it) are adults who are nostalgic for Saturday morning cartoons that they grew up with, and a cursory glance through the comments of this video (and others like it) will show that most the people watching it are adults.

This is the eleventh Saturday morning cartoon compilation video I've uploaded to Youtube. It's also the second time I've done a CBS line-up. The first one was for 1994, and was a lot more action oriented. This one is a lot more comedic in nature, with a lot more live-action shows. Riders in the Sky is a fantastic live-action show that's pretty much forgotten, as I don't see too many people taking about it ever. For Where's Waldo, I used the international version, where the only difference is that his name is Wally. I was also really surprised that Muppet Babies was a show that could be uploaded. It's kind of funny sometimes which shows can and can't be used. I included Pee-Wee's Playhouse, even though it would have been taken off the air by 1992, because I like Pee-Wee's Playhouse, and needed a show to substitute for the two hours of Garfield and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that can't be uploaded due to copyright. Anyhow, I enjoyed putting together this compilation, and I hope you enjoy watching it! For next Saturday, if you missed Fox Kids, you're in for a treat because we'll be returning to Fox, so stay tuned for that.

“He made fun of me, but he really did seem to genuinely like me as well,” Reubens said.

I'll definitiely be making more of these longer ones in the future.
List of Episodes Used (Video + Audio):

I'll definitiely be making more of these longer ones in the future.
