Narendra Jha

Narendra Jha (born Madhubani, Bihar) is an Indian actor known best for his role in the television series Havan as Hari Om Baapji and in Thers.He has worked recently in the movie Hamari Adhuri Kahani as a police officer (2015) He has also worked in Hum Ne Li Hai- Shapath as ACP Karanveer. He has also worked in two other shows named Captain House and Jai Hanumaan. Jha had also acted in a Doordarshan's television serials Aamrapali in 2002 and Samvidhaan in which he had played the role of Muhammed Ali Jinnah. He had played the protagonist in the Zee Tv serial Raavan in 2006. He has appeared in many other TV serials like Chhoona Hai Aasmaan, Chehra, Ek Ghar Banaunga. Jha played the role King Hamlet in Vishal Bharadwaj's adaptation of Hamlet titled Haider.

Urmila Mahanta (Assamese: উৰ্মিলা মহন্ত) is an Indian actress. A student of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, Urmila appeared in various plays, short films and television series, before making her feature film debut in the critically acclaimed 2012 Tamil crime thriller Vazhakku Enn 18/9. She has acted in Hindi, Assamese, Bengali and Malayalam films.

Career

Urmila Mahanta was born to Giridhar Mahanta and Ramala Mahanta in Sonapur, Assam; she has three siblings, Jutika Mahanta, Munmi Mahanta and Munindra Mahanta. Urmila did her entire schooling in Sonapur and later graduated from Dimoria College in Khetri, Kamrup. Urmila spent her major part of life in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and then went on to enroll at the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.

Urmila had been acting in plays since her childhood and won many awards. Afterwards, she was featured in several television serials such as Murder and Tejimola for Doordarshan (NE). which were followed by appearances in various critically acclaimed short films including Aaliya, that won the Special Critic Award at the 2012 Mumbai International Film Festival, Their Story and Cheng Kurthy. Urmila was also seen in Assamese singer Tarali Sarma's album Henguliya.

Shriya Saran

Shriya Saran (pronounced [ʂrɪjaː saːɽɳ]; born 11 September 1982), also known by the mononym Shriya, is an Indian film actress, model and presenter. She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi language films, as well as a few films in English, Malayalam and Kannada.

Saran was born in Dehradun and spent most of her childhood in Haridwar. In 2001, her dance master gave her the opportunity to appear in Renoo Nathan's debut music video "Thirakti Kyun Hawa", which brought Saran to the attention of many Indian filmmakers.

Although Saran aspired to become a well-known dancer, she was rather offered a leading role. Thus, Saran made her film debut in 2001 with the Telugu film Ishtam, and had her first commercial success with Santhosham (2002). She subsequently appeared in several more Telugu films, while making in-roads in the Hindi and Tamil film industries. In 2007, Saran starred in Sivaji, the highest-grossing Tamil film at that time. My Father

My Father (Hangul: 마이 파더; RR: Mai Padeo) is a 2007 South Korean film. The film, which is based on a true story, is about an adopted son who is searching for his biological parents in South Korea. During his search he meets his real father, a condemned murderer on death row. Daniel Henney plays the lead role of James, who works as a volunteer in the United States armed forces in Korea. He asks questions of why his father is on death row and finds out things that he always wanted to know. Then he finds more and more truths unravel about his father and his life.

The release of the film inspired controversy because the family of the father's victims did not support its production. In its first week on release it topped the South Korean box office sales charts.

The adopted son on whom the story is based is Aaron Bates, a licensed insurance broker for his family's insurance brokerage, Insurance Services of America. He lives and works in Arizona and is raising two boys of his own with his wife.
