Sara Akash is hindi classic movie about Agra-based collegian, Samar Thakur (Rakesh Pandey), lives in a joint family consisting of his father (A. K. Hangal), mother (Dina Pathak), brother Amar (film director Mani Kaul, in his only major acting role) and his wife; as well as a married sister, Munni, estranged from her husband. His parents force him to marry Prabha (Madhu Chakravarty), a matriculate, much to his chagrin as this interferes with his future plans. The marriage does take place, and he soon finds that she is not only incompatible with him, but also not well versed in household chores, leading to arguments, abuse and neglect, which may result in the end of this marriage.

All Time Superhit Hindi Movies Full Movie Watch Classic Superhit Hindi Movie RAJNIGANDHA (1974) directed by Basu Chatterjee, based on story "Yehi Sach Hai" by noted Hindi writer Manu Bhandari. Starring Amol Palekar, Vidya Sinha and Dinesh Thakur in the lead.
Rajnigandha won the Best Picture, the Popular Award and the Critics Award at the Filmfare Awards in 1975.
The film's music director was Salil Chaudhury rendered commercially successful tracks and the songs were written by Yogesh. Two popular songs were "Rajnigandha Phool Tumhaare" sung by Lata Mangeshkar and the Mukesh's "Kai Baar Yuheen Dekha hai," for which he won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer. All lyrics written by Yogesh.
Synopsis: Deepa (Vidya Sinha) is a graduate student in Delhi who is in a long-term relationship with Sanjay (Amol Palekar), whom she plans to marry. Sanjay is a loquacious, humorous, and a good individual who is also rather lackadaisical and forgetful with no sense of punctuality.
A job interview call from a college in Mumbai re-acquaints her with Navin (Dinesh Thakur) whom she had split up with under acrimonious circumstances. Navin is in every way the antithesis of Sanjay: He is very punctual and looks after her during her stay in Mumbai. Navin shows her the city and helps her with the job interview. This rekindles Deepa's feelings for him, and she finds herself torn between the two men and between her past and her present. Upon her return to Delhi, she feels that her first love (Navin) is her true love. She receives a letter stating that she has got the job in Mumbai. At the same time Sanjay comes to her house and tells her that he has got a promotion. Deepa then feels that she should forget the past and get married to Sanjay. Whom she decides to marry forms the climax of the movie.

Anubhav is a Hindi Classic Movie about Meeta Sen (Tanuja) and Amar Sen (Sanjeev Kumar) who have been married for several years. Due to Amar's hectic work schedule, the couple did not have children, as there was no time for intimacy. Meeta decides to take matters into her own hands, gets rid of the servants, save for Hari (A. K. Hangal), and decides to run the household on her own. This gets the couple to be closer, and eventually they do get intimate. And then Meeta's old flame Shashi Bhushan (Dinesh Thakur) not only re-enters Meeta's life, but also gets employed in the same organization as Amar, throwing their marriage again in jeopardy. One day while at home Amar and Shashi discuss their work and Amar tells that he'll join the office from tomorrow because he's fine now from his flu. While Shashi leaves, Amar sees him talking with his wife. The next day he asks Meeta to call for Shashi in an intimidating and arrogant tone, after Shashi leaves, Amar confronts Meeta and she explains their past relationship to him. Amar leaves the house without saying anything and asks Shashi to resign, though Shashi already has written his resignation letter because he sees himself as a reason of upheaval in their lives. Knowing this Amar says that' The past comes between us only when we aren't able to live the present completely'. After reaching home Amar tries to tell Meeta but she's circumlocuting in an amusing manner and says that she has understood and tells him that she has understood that he has understood. The movie ends with them embracing each other.

Basu Chatterjee
Basu Chatterjee (Bengali: বাসু চ্যাটার্জ্জী; born 10 January 1930) is an Indian film director and screenwriter. Through the 1970s and 80s, he became associated with what came to be known as middle cinema or middle-of-the road cinema, with film makers like Hrishikesh Mukherjee and Basu Bhattacharya, whom he assisted in Teesri Kasam (1966). Like them, his films also dealt with light-hearted stories of middle-class families often in urban settings, focussing on marital and love relationships, with exceptions like Ek Ruka Hua Faisla (1986) and Kamla Ki Maut (1989), which delved into social and moral issues. He is best known for his films Chhoti Si Baat (1976), Chitchor (1976), Rajnigandha (1974), Piya Ka Ghar (1972), Baton Baton Mein (1979) and Shaukeen (1982).
Early life
Basu Chatterjee was born in Ajmer, Rajasthan, India.
Career
Chatterjee started his career as an illustrator and cartoonist with weekly tabloid, Blitz published in Bombay (now Mumbai) by Russi Karanjia. Here he worked for 18 years, before he changed career paths to filmmaking when he assisted Basu Bhattacharya in Raj Kapoor and Waheeda Rehman starrer, Teesri Kasam (1966), which later won National Film Award for Best Feature Film. Eventually he made his directorial debut with Sara Akash in 1969, which won him Filmfare Best Screenplay Award.

Due to Amar's hectic work schedule, the couple did not have children, as there was no time for intimacy. Meeta decides to take matters into her own hands, gets rid of the servants, save for Hari (A. K. Hangal), and decides to run the household on her own. This gets the couple to be closer, and eventually they do get intimate. And then Meeta's old flame Shashi Bhushan (Dinesh Thakur) not only re-enters Meeta's life, but also gets employed in the same organization as Amar, throwing their marriage again in jeopardy. One day while at home Amar and Shashi discuss their work and Amar tells that he'll join the office from tomorrow because he's fine now from his flu. While Shashi leaves, Amar sees him talking with his wife. The next day he asks Meeta to call for Shashi in an intimidating and arrogant tone, after Shashi leaves, Amar confronts Meeta and she explains their past relationship to him. Amar leaves the house without saying anything and asks Shashi to resign, though Shashi already has written his resignation letter because he sees himself as a reason of upheaval in their lives. Knowing this Amar says that' The past comes between us only when we aren't able to live the present completely'. After reaching home Amar tries to tell Meeta but she's circumlocuting in an amusing manner and says that she has understood and tells him that she has understood that he has understood. The movie ends with them embracing each other.

Rajnigandha won the Best Picture, the Popular Award and the Critics Award at the Filmfare Awards in 1975.
The film's music director was Salil Chaudhury rendered commercially successful tracks and the songs were written by Yogesh. Two popular songs were "Rajnigandha Phool Tumhaare" sung by Lata Mangeshkar and the Mukesh's "Kai Baar Yuheen Dekha hai," for which he won the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer. All lyrics written by Yogesh.
Synopsis: Deepa (Vidya Sinha) is a graduate student in Delhi who is in a long-term relationship with Sanjay (Amol Palekar), whom she plans to marry. Sanjay is a loquacious, humorous, and a good individual who is also rather lackadaisical and forgetful with no sense of punctuality.
A job interview call from a college in Mumbai re-acquaints her with Navin (Dinesh Thakur) whom she had split up with under acrimonious circumstances. Navin is in every way the antithesis of Sanjay: He is very punctual and looks after her during her stay in Mumbai. Navin shows her the city and helps her with the job interview. This rekindles Deepa's feelings for him, and she finds herself torn between the two men and between her past and her present. Upon her return to Delhi, she feels that her first love (Navin) is her true love. She receives a letter stating that she has got the job in Mumbai. At the same time Sanjay comes to her house and tells her that he has got a promotion. Deepa then feels that she should forget the past and get married to Sanjay. Whom she decides to marry forms the climax of the movie.

Among them are Sudhakar, his wife, and their two daughters. The incident sets them all thinking and looking into their own secret lives. Anubhav is a Hindi Classic Movie about Meeta Sen (Tanuja) and Amar Sen (Sanjeev Kumar) who have been married for several years. Due to Amar's hectic work schedule, the couple did not have children, as there was no time for intimacy. Meeta decides to take matters into her own hands, gets rid of the servants, save for Hari (A. K. Hangal), and decides to run the household on her own. This gets the couple to be closer, and eventually they do get intimate. And then Meeta's old flame Shashi Bhushan (Dinesh Thakur) not only re-enters Meeta's life, but also gets employed in the same organization as Amar, throwing their marriage again in jeopardy. One day while at home Amar and Shashi discuss their work and Amar tells that he'll join the office from tomorrow because he's fine now from his flu. While Shashi leaves, Amar sees him talking with his wife. The next day he asks Meeta to call for Shashi in an intimidating and arrogant tone, after Shashi leaves, Amar confronts Meeta and she explains their past relationship to him. Amar leaves the house without saying anything and asks Shashi to resign, though Shashi already has written his resignation letter because he sees himself as a reason of upheaval in their lives. Knowing this Amar says that' The past comes between us only when we aren't able to live the present completely'. After reaching home Amar tries to tell Meeta but she's circumlocuting in an amusing manner and says that she has understood and tells him that she has understood that he has understood. The movie ends with them embracing each other.

Her father Prantosh Chattopadhyaya was in the Army. she is married to Jayant Mukherjee son of Hemant Kumar. She made her film debut in the Bengali hit, Balika Badhu (1969). Her debut as heroine in the Hindi film Anuraag (1973), Her another huge hit film, where she played a rape survivor in Manoj Kumar's "Roti, Kapada, Aur Makaan" (1974). Her performance earned her a Filmfare Nomination as Best Supporting Actress. That led to more starring roles opposite superstar Amitabh Bachchan in the thriller "Benaam" (1974) and Basu Chatterjee's film "Manzil" (1979). she made the transition to character roles...
