"Back Then" is a song released from Houston-based rapper, Mike Jones. The track is the second single from his debut album Who Is Mike Jones?. The single was released in February 2005 and peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving him his first and only top 40 hit on that chart as a solo artist. It also gave him success on the Hot Rap Songs and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts at number 6 and 15 respectively. A music video by Dr. Teeth was made for the single that featured Jones' life before fame, getting dissed by every women he met to get attention from and giving them the same treatment now that he's a successful rapper.
The song deals with the popularity and sexual attention rappers receive because of their money, contrasts, and the way Jones was treated before achieving success. The song is sometimes seen as a critique of effects of fame; conversely, it is often considered to present a misogynistic or chauvinistic attitude toward women. The following line, which is repeated many times during the song, sums up the general attitude of the lyrics: "Back then hoes didn't want me / Now I'm hot hoes all on me." Written by Daunte Moore, who died before the song was released.
Back Then (German:Damals) is a 1943 German drama film directed by Rolf Hansen and starring Zarah Leander, Hans Stüwe and Rossano Brazzi. The film's sets were designed by Walter Haag.
It was made at the Babelsberg Studio, by Universum Film AG, Germany's largest film company. It was Leander's final film of the Nazi era, as she returned to Sweden shortly afterwards. This was a blow for the German film industry, as she was the most popular and highest-paid star. Leander's next film was not for another seven years, when she made a comeback in Gabriela (1950).

Before the laws and the social orders
Before the calls of our lieutenants arrived
Before the rise of pop culture
Before the guards at the borders
Before the expectations
Led to last frustrations
Before the path to salvation was clouded
By the deep depths of temptation
Back then
It was alright to pretend
But all we really have is within
And we disguised expected
Back then
Love had a place to stay
It wasnt getting turned away
It took my whole life just to realize
This has to make a way to back then
Back then
Back then
Back then
Well holy sons, holy daughters, holy sisters, holy brothers
Holy skies, holy waters
For those who came before us
But on the way to work come before us
Before the expectations
Led to last frustrations
Before the path to salvation was clouded
By the deep depths of temptation
Back then
It was alright to pretend
But all we really have is within
And we disguised expected
Back then
Love had a place to stay
It wasnt getting turned away
It took my whole life just to realize
This has to make a way to back then
Back then
Back then
Back then
Back then
