Bathurst appeal crashes

The Battle of Bathurst is over. Following a comedy of errors, V8 super team Triple Eight Holden has given up its legal fight to reclaim victory in the Bathurst 1000 from Supercars underdogs Will Davison and Jonathon Webb.

Whincup's Bathurst appeal deadline extended

Six-time V8 champion Jamie Whincup's Supercars team has been given until late Friday afternoon to lodge its appeal against the penalty that cost him victory in the Bathurst 1000.
