A street parade in Wellington on 24th April, celebrating Anzac Day
ANZAC Day is the day when Australians and New Zealanders remember those who died and fought for their country in the many wars in which we have been involved. Across the two nations, marches and services are held to honour the call to our nations, Lest We Forget . This report begins With the Last Post, followed by a reading of the Ode of Remembrance from Laurence Binyon's poem, "For the Fallen", One such remembrance was the ANZAC Day march in Sydney, 2013. The streets were filled with people young and old, some having come from the Dawn S at the Senate, ervice which attracted many thousands.
