Police attempted to subdue protesters outside in Anaheim, California, following a rally for presidential candidate Donald Trump. The protesters, whose gathering was deemed unlawful, were reportedly throwing stones at police.

Twelve people were arrested, and three people were stabbed, including one man possibly stabbed with a Confederate flag, when the Ku Klux Klan held a rally at an Anaheim, California park.
The event did not go well for the Klan on Saturday, February 27th. A handful of Klan members were confronted by a much larger group of counter protesters, and several fights erupted.
Bloodied Klan members were literally chased out of the neighborhood by angry and violent protesters.
Seven protesters were arrested along with five KKK members.
The man stabbed with the flag was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

Disneyland Park, originally Disneyland, is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, opened on July 17, 1955. It is the only theme park designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. It was originally the only attraction on the property; its name was changed to Disneyland Park to distinguish it from the expanding complex in the 1990s.
Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring a consultant to help him determine an appropriate site for his project, Walt bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953. Construction began in 1954 and the park was unveiled during a special televised press event on the ABC Television Network on July 17, 1955.
Since its opening, Disneyland has undergone a number of expansions and major renovations, including the addition of New Orleans Square in 1966, Bear Country (now Critter Country) in 1972, and Mickey's Toontown in 1993. Opened in 2001, Disney California Adventure Park was built on the site of Disneyland's original parking lot.
Disneyland has a larger cumulative attendance than any other theme park in the world, with over 650 million guests since it opened. In 2013 the park hosted approximately 16.2 million guests, making it the third most visited park in the world that calendar year.[2] According to a March 2005 Disney Company report 65,700 jobs are supported by the Disneyland Resort, including about 20,000 direct Disney employees and 3,800 third-party employees (independent contractors or their employees).

ANAHEIM, Calif. - A few dozen people protested outside a Donald Trump appearance Wednesday, one day after a demonstration outside a New Mexico event exploded in chaos as protesters trampled barricades, hurled bottles and burned Trump gear.
Police on horses, cars and motorcycles were in force to prevent against riots in Anaheim, where protesters brought a pinata in Trump's likeness and smashed it while chanting anti-Trump profanity.
Pro-Trump supporters were also on hand, but seemingly out-flanked by the opposition, as most were inside the convention center to hear the presidential candidate speak.
No official estimates were given to the size of the crowd, but it was easily 300-400 people.
Anaheim Police Chief Raul Quezada earlier promised "swift and decisive action" if violence flared outside the Anaheim Convention Center

Anaheim, California
Anaheim (pronounced /ˈænəhaɪm/) is a city in Orange County, California, part of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city had a population of 336,265, making it the most populous city in Orange County and the 10th most populous city in California. Anaheim's city limits extend from Cypress in the west to the Riverside County line in the east and encompass a diverse collection of neighborhoods and communities. Anaheim Hills is a master-planned community located in the city's eastern stretches that is home to many sports stars and executives. Downtown Anaheim has three mixed-use historic districts, the largest of which is the Anaheim Colony. The Anaheim Resort, a commercial district, includes Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and numerous hotels and retail complexes. The Platinum Triangle, a neo-urban redevelopment district surrounding Angel Stadium, is planned to be populated with mixed-use streets and high-rises. Finally, Anaheim Canyon is an industrial district north of SR 91 and east of SR 57.

Donald Trump
Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. Since 2015, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development. After two years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son. Upon graduating in 1968 he joined the company, and in 1971 was given control, renaming the company "The Trump Organization". Since then he has built hotels, golf courses, and other properties, many of which bear his name. He is a major figure in the American business scene and has received prominent media exposure. The NBC reality show The Apprentice bolstered his fame, and his three marriages were extensively reported in tabloids.

The event did not go well for the Klan on Saturday, February 27th. A handful of Klan members were confronted by a much larger group of counter protesters, and several fights erupted.
Bloodied Klan members were literally chased out of the neighborhood by angry and violent protesters.
Seven protesters were arrested along with five KKK members.
The man stabbed with the flag was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

Walt Disney came up with the concept of Disneyland after visiting various amusement parks with his daughters in the 1930s and 1940s. He initially envisioned building a tourist attraction adjacent to his studios in Burbank to entertain fans who wished to visit; however, he soon realized that the proposed site was too small. After hiring a consultant to help him determine an appropriate site for his project, Walt bought a 160-acre (65 ha) site near Anaheim in 1953. ANAHEIM, Calif. - A few dozen people protested outside a Donald Trump appearance Wednesday, one day after a demonstration outside a New Mexico event exploded in chaos as protesters trampled barricades, hurled bottles and burned Trump gear.
Police on horses, cars and motorcycles were in force to prevent against riots in Anaheim, where protesters brought a pinata in Trump's likeness and smashed it while chanting anti-Trump profanity.
Pro-Trump supporters were also on hand, but seemingly out-flanked by the opposition, as most were inside the convention center to hear the presidential candidate speak.
No official estimates were given to the size of the crowd, but it was easily 300-400 people.
Anaheim Police Chief Raul Quezada earlier promised "swift and decisive action" if violence flared outside the Anaheim Convention Center

Begin your Orange County sightseeing with a history lesson. Mission San Juan Capistrano, located on the county’s southernmost tip, features the oldest Californian buildings in use today, and you can tour these almost any day of the week. Just a few years later and a few miles to the north, the sleepy town of Laguna Beach attracted new types of worshippers, namely sun and nature lovers. In the late 19th century, it became a playground for the vacationing wealthy. These days, Laguna Beach is full of hills, winding streets, and creative personalities, and is the perfect place to shop for art.
If you’re looking for something a little off the beaten path, Crystal Cove is the place for you. Where else can you stay in antique cabins put together from old Hollywood movie sets? Not in Newport Beach, where sprawling, million-dollar homes line the harbor. Can you believe you could once buy lots here for $1 an acre?

California travel expert Veronica Hill and husband Jason Hill share their guide to Disneyland California in this episode of "California Travel Tips."
In this Disneyland video, we'll take you on a tour of the Disneyland Resort and share some of our favorite Disneyland tips with you.
Try to buy your Disneyland tickets online so you don't have to hassle with the lines when you arrive. If you're staying in one of the Disneyland hotels, you can enjoy Magic Mornings, which allows early access into the park.
If you live in Southern California, it's worth your while to buy the Disneyland annual pass instead of a Disneyland ticket. It pays for itself after only three visits.
Disneyland Park is home to eight different lands spread across 85 acres. You can pick up a Disneyland map when you pass through the gates.
Be sure to check out the most popular Disneyland rides first, as they usually have the longest lines. Always try to use the Disneyland Fastpass service.
At the guest information board, you can find out about Disneyland character appearances, or the next Disneyland parade showtimes. Disneyland hours are extended during the summer until around midnight. Check their Web site for the daily schedule.
In this video, Veronica and Jason check out Splash Mountain, Disneyland Matterhorn and the Disneyland Haunted Mansion, which takes on a whole new feeling during the Disneyland holiday.
Other fun Disneyland Christmas attractions include Reindeer Roundup in Frontierland and the "Small World Holiday" in Fantasyland.
One of the most fun Disneyland secrets are the Hidden Mickeys. We found two on the Pirates of the Caribbean during our Disneyland trip.
Many Disneyland restaurants cater to special dietary needs, whether you're vegan, kosher or gluten free. Call ahead to Disneyland dining and they'll be happy to help you out. Most restaurants at Disneyland offer discounts to passholders.
If you want a good spot to see the Disneyland Fireworks, grab a seat in front of the Disneyland Castle a few hours before showtime.
One of our favorite Disneyland Tips: If your camera batteries go dead, take them to Main Street Photo Supply for a recharge.

The private sector is getting in on the action too, setting up a Smart Commute Toronto initiative to increase the city's transit efficiency.

A smart city is defined as using information and communication technologies to be more intelligent and efficient in the use of resources, resulting in cost and energy savings, improved service delivery and quality of life, and reduced environmental footprint--all supporting innovation and the low-carbon economy.
The rankings were determined by the cities scores on 4 global categories: Innovation, Green ranking, Quality of life and digital city.
