Here I'm showing is my Grandpa's main vacuum at his house. This is one of my favorite vacuums cleaners of all time and I vote this one as the most funnest vacuum that I've ever used. I have waited a long time to do this video and this is overall my favorite video that I have uploaded on YouTube. I apologize that I didn't show the best that I could on this because this was a very short trip and it's possible that I might do a redo on this. It's also possible that I might do another video on this but just vacuum the entire place with this because this is such a fun vacuum to use. This vacuum was installed when the house was built in 1982 but the electric kit was bought either in the late 90's or early 2000's. There's a total of 6 inlets inside the house plus one outside by the unit. These inlets are my favorite of all time because I love the looks of it, it's high quality, and I think it's cool how it turns on automatically when you plug in the hose because these inlets have one pin instead of two and it doesn't shock me when I press it on. I'm not a huge fan of these newer inlets Vacumaid sells today because I don't like the brush finish on them. If they still made these exact same inlets today, that would've been my first choice to get as inlets in my own house. The electric hose here is also my favorite of all time because I like the looks of it, it's also high quality, and it feels really good on my hand. Only problem on it is that it's got a rip on it so that explains why there's tape on it and I wish that this had a sock hose on to prevent that from happening. It's also missing both the upholstery and bare floor tool but other than that, these are also high quality attachments. The powerhead is made by Panasonic and it's also my favorite powerhead of all time because I love the sound of it, I think it cleans great, and I love the brushroll that's used on this since I'm not a huge fan of the newer wooden brushrolls. Only problem with it is that both the bearings in the brushroll and the motor needs lubricating but I didn't had the time to fix that. It's a shame that they don't make these powerheads anymore because that would've been my first choice to have as a powerhead when I get a central vacuum in my own house. The other hose outside was the original hose for this but it's now being used as a garage hose. I thought the attachments on this was overall interesting. The unit is also my favorite of all time out of all the other units that I have seen and used. I love the green color on this, it matches the Kenmore at my Grandpa's cabin. I also like the true cyclonic filtration because it's cleaner and easier to empty than other bagless central vacuums that I have emptied before, and I also like how it's vented outside. Only downfall is that the screen can clog up once every while but again it's easy to clean out, similar to like cleaning out dryer lint from the dryer. I also like the logo on this. And I also love the sound of the unit. The only problem with this as you can hear is that the bearings are really dry and I would also need to check to make sure that the brushes are still good as well. This sounded fine a few years ago but before that I remember that it had motor problems because I remember it used to shut off a few times before so it's possible that this may need a new motor soon. Other than that, if this exact model was still being made in that color and logo, this would've been my first choice to get as a unit when I get my own house. Not a huge fan of today's Vacumaid logo and the color on the units. Overall, I love this vacuum. It has good suction and airflow. The powerhead does an excellent job on carpets. And man this is such a fun vacuum to use. This vacuum is what convinced my parents to get one at our house but I wish we got a Vacumaid instead of what we have. I highly recommend Vacumaid because I think it's one of the best systems on the market. NOTE: I did decide to go ahead and show the Steamvac for any vacuum collectors and my subscribers to know that I can't do a video on it because the motor is bad. Hope you enjoyed!
