Revolution in Britain: from peasantry to proletariat
Annual general meeting of the Stalin Society followed by a presentation by comrade Daniel O’Brien. Setting the scene with a brief overview of events and developments between the Peasants’ Revolt and the English Revolution, the talk will focus on the class forces involved in the overthrow of the monarchy with specific reference to the Levellers.
