About

Finally, We Can Do The Things We Dreamed!

ABOUT
After both experiencing life "events," we're married (yes, to one another! %) we're both retired and on pensions. All the things we wished we had time to do - well, now we have!

LOCATION
We find ourselves in a small slice of heaven, a rented house perched on the edge of a rainforest valley in SE Victoria in Australia. It's definitely an inspiration to us to have such good surroundings.

PEOPLE
Kerina is a mosaic artist, paints, makes textile sculpture things, decorates, earrings and jewellery, handbags and other items in good organic textural and hippie spiritual styles and designs, she also inspires Ted and keeps having newer and better ideas.

Ted does leathercraft, silversmithing, jewellery, and small pieces in conventional, steampunk, techpunk, and bushpunk styles.

Some of our more unusual items include mosaic signs made to order, found object metal lamps, windchimes and clocks made from a variety of materials including records and recycled computer hardware, steampunk sculptures and ornaments, and more. The best way to keep up with the range is to bookmark our shop and check in once a week!

GOODS
The items we create are made from a variety of materials recycled, new, repurposed, and recreated to become jewellery, sculptures, and useful and beautiful items.

Because we have a wide and diverse range of skills and techniques between us, many of our items are in mixed media or form, and often we both contribute to items.

We produce items that range from one-offs to series and ranges, in styles and materials from steampunk copper to organic textiles, and are continuously trying new materials and new ideas.

ORGANIC MATERIALS
If there are any organic materials which may not be exported/imported to certain countries, this will be indicated in the description of the item in question,. In such cases we regret that we may not be able to ship this item to your location.

UNIQUE ITEMS
If an item you were interested is sold out, we *may* be able to produce a bespoke version for you, but due to the nature of recycled goods, it may not always be possible to reproduce a particular item. Your best bet is to contact us and we'll dig through the materials and do our best to make another similar item.

THE STUDIOS
We're lucky that the house is big and sprawling, and we have several work areas for different tasks, an indoor studio for jewellery, leather, and textile work, an outside semi-open studio for mosaic and small cabinets and so forth, and a larger workshop for welding and larger projects.

Between us we have a large range of tools and techniques for making the things we do, and a seemingly endless reservoir of materials. We keep an eye out especially for things produced locally with local resources, but also anything that is worth recycling and re-using.

Shop policies

Hi, this is the shop, feel free to browse around. We won't stand over your shoulder like salespeople on commission asking if we can help you, but do contact us anytime if you'd like to know any more about any item or condition.

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
Payment
We prefer Paypal over all other forms of payment but are willing to accept direct debit transfers. Paypal is the easiest because it allows us to accept various cards.
Shipping
POSTAGE
Postage is always a worst case scenario, and if you contact us before purchasing we can often make a far better postage price, especially for quantity orders. For instance, the price of a second item in the same shipping category is around 2/3 the full cost, but further items in the same shipping category are essentially free up to the weight limit of the category.

That means that you will pay full postage for one pair of earrings, one and two thirds postage for two pairs, and then there's no extra postage on the next sets earrings in the same order until their combined weight exceeds the limit for small parcels, which is (in this case) around 250g, or roughly eight more pairs of earrings.

LARGE/UNPOSTABLE ITEMS
Some of our items are regrettably pick-up only from our premises, or need to be subject to some special pick-up and couriering procedures. In these cases, we'll provide a security code known only to us and the buyer, that the courier or person picking up will need to know before we'll release any goods.

Such large items include Bali flags, some statuary and sculptures, and similar.
Refunds and Exchanges
All items are sold 'as is' - if the photo states that an item is an example only, then this means that you won't get the exact item shown in the photo. This is generally only done in the case of series and ranges such as some drop earrings etc.

All care is taken in packaging items for shipping, however due to the unique nature of most items, direct replacement is not possible. See "UNIQUE ITEMS" heading above - the best we can do is offer a refund, or offer to make a substantially similar item and ship that as a replacement. In any case, unless the postage is insured (which costs more) it is best to take up the matter with the delivering service first and get compensation from them.

We'll do everything we are able to, to ensure that your items get to you in good condition.
Additional policies and FAQs
We don't wholesale through Etsy, but see the Seller Information panel for a way you can contact us if you'd like to carry some of our works in your retail shop.

We are available for selected bespoke works and custom orders, however this is always subject to relevant materials and time being available.
