    COMPANY OVERVIEW

A high-tech company responsible for the world’s first All-In-One 3D printer. A single button press allows users to scan, edit and print 3D objects with ease. No manual calibration or complicated software knowledge necessary. By automating the process, AIO Robotics has made the technology accessible.

    MISSION

Today, less than 1% of people worldwide have touched or used 3D printers. Our mission is to bring 3D printers into small businesses, schools, and households by making 3D printing as easy as 2D printing.

6 questions we’re asked the most

1. What inspired you to build a 3D printer?

We were working on other robotics projects and were using different types of early 3D printers and scanners with various cad software programs. We quickly became frustrated with how complicated and time consuming it was to get a good quality result. Lots of manual tuning and calibration that sucked the fun out of what we were trying to achieve.  We knew we could build a better machine because we knew what was wrong with the ones we were using. Ultimately we built a machine we wanted to use. We started with an intimate knowledge of the market’s needs, we knew the problems and were inspired to solve them.

2. Why all-in-one?

We see an analog with 2D printing and 3D printing. When the technology  merges into one tidy unit, it not only simplifies the work flow, it allows you to do more, in less time. A lot of car designers for example work with clay and then scan those shapes to either print as is, or to import into a program where it can be edited, shared or sent to another device anywhere in the world. The ZEUS all-in-one device allows all that to happen in a machine  that’s connected to the cloud which equals more creative freedom and  more satisfying results because of the intuitive user interface and because both the printing and scanning output is best in class (according to 3rd party lab results and customer reviews).

3. What stops most people from getting into 3D printing?

The number one thing that deters people is accessibility. People don’t want to suffer through a learning curve so we guarantee the smallest learning curve in the space. Plus we’ve priced ZEUS to be affordable yet haven’t sacrified on quality.  We stand by our product and know that it’s not the cheapest but is the best value 3D printer/editor/scanner on the market today.  Part of the value comes with the fact that we’ve designed an ecosystem that allows people to not only set up the ZEUS in under 10 minutes but to use powerful yet simple software that puts the control in our users’ hands so the sky’s the limit as to what they can create. There’s no complicated software to learn. If you can use an iPad…you can use the ZEUS. And the experience is rewarding thanks to our printer being automated, it delivers a superior printout with the need to calibrate each time.

4. Your current model uses PLA. Are there any plans to allow users more variety in their choice of materials?

Yes! We’re exploring various options and definitely see a not too distant future where many types of filaments can be used in our machines.

5. Do you have plans to develop enterprise or mini version of ZEUS?

While our core product will always be focused on the all-in-one (scan – edit – printer) device, we see the benefit of increasing the print size capability for larger items, as well as other materials (metals, wood etc)

6. Who is your core market?

3D printing has the potential to make an impact in almost every sector. However, because ZEUS is the easiest machine to learn, and also one of the safest, we believe that the education sector is a very obvious one for us to focus on. Having said that, dentists love us as do hobbyists, mechanics and home improvers to name a few. We like to think that we’ve moved past simply using 3d printing to make pretty things but with ZEUS you can actually make (or fix or archive or customize) useful objects or rather… ZEUSeful objects!
