Katie Price's philosophy is one of extraordinary confidence. She is remarkable not for her looks or antics but because of her tremendous self-assurance and her unwillingness to be intimidated by criticism or failure. She's always beginning a new endeavour, whether it's publishing a novel or auditioning for the Eurovision song contest. Her daring has ultimately paid off again and again. She has built a 45 million pound business empire and worldwide brand.
To say that I hate Donald Trump would be something of an understatement. Like lots of people, I am sick of hearing his bile and seeing his smug, plasticine face plastered over front-pages and television screens. Unlike most however, my reasons run a bit deeper... For 32 years, I shared the same name as him.
The majority of this strategy is aimed at the Muslim community. It has an alienating effect of a community already experiencing discrimination and rising hate crime. In the past, it would have been others and who knows who it might be used against in future. It is all entirely counter-productive. There is no evidence that it has prevented anything. It is time for a major review of the strategy and a fundamental rethink by Government.
Such is the self-absorption of Britain with things that affect Britain, you could almost be forgiven for thinking the world's refugee crisis is largely about who comes to this country. It's all about Calais, isn't it?... The UK is just a bit player in the global drama - the tragedy - which has seen tens of millions of people forced out of their homes because of war and repression.
It is a truth universally acknowledged that if you are a young woman in 2016 you are unlikely to have crossed the road, queued for a club, tried to buy a drink or sat on public transport without at some point having a stranger compliment you on your smile, breasts or legs.
We are glibly throwing ever more people into this river of violence, of drugs, of boredom and mental distress, and somehow magically thinking that this will make them better people. It does not.
Blaming porn for children being sexually active and anxious about sex, is a single minded and uneducated view. Snapchat, Tinder, Facebook and even Whatsapp, all give young people an endless platform for swapping messages and photos without their parents knowing.
Just think of the positive impact an out gay man in the Premier League could have, not just in helping young football supporters struggling with their own sexuality, but in gaining LGBT allies among straight fans. Let's hope that Gazidis will be proven correct in his prediction sooner rather than later, and that we won't have to wait five whole years.
Mel and Sue were drowning in French jokes. Plus there was that awkward moment when Mel and Sue joke about leaving the show and having enough... when in the future they will be leaving the show and will have had enough...
Sexism in these areas needs to be addressed, and the Nobel Foundation has the power to improve this by treating women as equal players. But for now, the message to women is clear - the best man always wins.
Of course, every leap of progress should be accompanied by a little caution, but sometimes it feels as though we're far too willing to miss out on incredible improvements to our lives because we do not want to leave our comfort zone.
In his speech at the Conservative Party conference, Boris Johnson talked at length about the influence of "Global Britain". But where is this influence when it comes to Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe? For once the foreign secretary should stop grandstanding and knuckle down to the real work of securing my constituent's freedom from an Iranian prison cell. Getting one young Hampstead mother out of jail might not be the kind of glorious, earth-shattering diplomatic triumph that Mr Johnson dreams of. But it would mean a huge amount to the people caught up in this nightmare.
When I first heard archaeology was to be scrapped at A-Level I was not only surprised, but devastated. This is a subject that teaches our students about what it is to be human. We learn about the material culture left by our ancestors from all over the world. We discuss the concepts of culture, politics, art, identity and we do so with an open mind. Even after several years of teaching the A-Level I still find new material that keeps me in awe.
The way the Tories voted, turning their backs on the evidence of modest measures which will support social mobility, slams the door in the face of every young person who wants to get on in life. Their claims that they want to build a country that works for everyone are nothing more than empty rhetoric. They talk the talk, but they have no interest in walking the walk.
Whether you like these lessons learned or not, whether you believe them or not, the warning signs are there. It's about time Labour listened, did their homework and figured out how to beat their opponents.
In Somalia it is called 'Pharaohs' because it was introduced three thousand years ago by the Pharaohs. I have type 3. It was done to me so I could be presented with proof as a virgin to my husband on my wedding night. It is the husband's prize and it is his job to force himself inside
The few children's books I've found that feature breastfeeding tend to be ones that are specifically about breastfeeding or attachment parenting more generally; in other words, someone would have to already be passionate about breastfeeding to seek out these texts
Now, with his work finding a whole new audience with this film, Cai Guo-Qiang and Wendi sat down with HuffPostUK to talk about working together on a film that boasts Oscar-winning director Kevin Macdonald at its helm and is now available on Netflix.
Virtual Reality (VR), a technology which lets users experience replications of real life events and scenarios through a headset which displays computer generated images, is looking to become a strong tool in the battle against mental illness.
It comes as little surprise that the likes of Skrillex and Deadmau5 cite the French duo as their greatest influence. Discovery surely stands as one of electronic music's best, most influential records - and Harder Better Faster Stronger the album's most forward-thinking, innovative track.
Too many women suffer domestic violence and abuse and don't get the support they deserve - but it also happens to men but it seems that when men are victims it is acceptable to have a good laugh about it on mainstream TV.
Labour believes that this should have been a Digital Future Bill looking at how we support the digital economy so that it works for everyone: thinking about skills and education, Digital inclusion, workers' protections in the gig economy, the ethics of Big Data and data sharing, digital infrastructure, taxation, digital public services, financing for start-ups particularly outside London, WiFi in public spaces, the progress of open data policy making and post-Brexit the ability of companies to recruit specialists. On those challenges and opportunities the Government is silent.
