Pyrrhus Concer home to be rebuilt in Southampton village soon

The rebuilding of the home of Pyrrhus Concer could get underway soon in Southampton as a museum. Mr. Concer, a whaler, was one of the first Americans to dock in Tokyo, Japan, and probably the first person of color ever to visit Japan.

Well, once they get some washing lines up…

And while I’m joking about that, I really do love washing lines in Montauk. They remind me of my childhood and sleeping on my nana’s sheets, freshly dried on ocean breezes. You can’t get sheets like that any more (Nana stole them from her linen service).

I talked to the Farrells recently (Joe and Kristin) and they’re bullish on Amg.

Also, I dunno, road noise doesn’t bother me but I know it bothers a lot of other people. To me it’s a kind of soothing white noise. I don’t like total silence.
