FOOTAGE has emerged of former Germany World Cup goalkeeper Tim Wiese beginning his preparation for his WWE debut on November 3.
The former Werder Bremer and Hoffenheim custodian’s stunning 38kg transformation has made global headlines, as he’s gone from a goalkeeper, who played eight times for his country, to a wrestling star.
In his latest interview, he told SID he wants to be “the bad guy” – a trait he thinks he has no issues with because he spent his entire football career trying to stop goals going through.
“I will hurt the others -- they won’t hurt me. Whoever takes it up with me, I am unbeatable.
“I think I’ll be the bad guy. That’s OK, I can get used to it. I was the bad person during my time as a footballer when opposing fans insulted me in the stadiums.
“I can cope with it. They can all hate me if they want. The Germans might love me, or they might not. I don’t have a clue.”
And it seems he holds no more sentiment about the game that made him a star, adding he “no longer cares two figs about football”.
He will appear alongside regulars Cesaro and Sheamus in a six-man tag-team in Munich in his debut.
