In the winter of 2016, secret shoppers from the Automobile Protection Association visited 20 new car dealerships in Greater Vancouver.

Email responses W5 received from dealerships as well as from the head offices of Honda, Nissan and Ford.

The head of the association representing retired NHL players provided a league executive with a document summarizing a meeting held by former players engaged in the concussion lawsuit against the league, a CTV News/TSN exclusive has found.

A decade after the NHL launched its concussion study in 1997, neurologists spoke with players, team doctors and league officials to make the game safer. But as a CTV News-TSN investigation finds, they never got to finish analyzing the data they collected.

A U.S. federal court in Minneapolis has unsealed a trove of sensitive emails sent between high-ranking NHL executives, including one email exchange in which NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly links fighting in hockey to "personal tragedies."
