FLYING A DRONE AT CLEVEDON PIER - VLOG #15
A quiet, pretty little town in North Somerset on the Bristol Channel coast of England, Clevedon was once a fishing village but in the mid 19th century tried to reinvent itself as a small but fashionable seaside resort. It didn't make it in the big time but is nevertheless a nice place to visit, live or retire within easy reach of Bristol & with spectacular sunsets to be seen from the promenade. Unfortunately the branch railway was closed in the 1960's so the town can only be reached by road or by sea at high tide.
Documentary about the Weston, Clevedon and Portishead Railway which ran in Somerset, UK, and followed the South Coast of the Bristol Channel. It was one of several independent Light Railways in Britain run by Colonel Holman Frederick Stephens from his headquarters in Tonbridge, Kent.

Clevedon seafront includes ornamental gardens, a Victorian bandstand, and other visitor attractions. The Salthouse Field has a light railway running round the perimeter and is used for donkey rides during the summer. The shore is a mixture of pebbled beaches and low rocky cliffs, with the old harbour being at the western edge of the town at the mouth of the Land Yeo. The rocky beach has been designated as the Clevedon Shore geological Site of Special Scientific Interest. Clevedon Pier was opened in 1869, one of the earliest examples of a Victorian pier still in existence in the United Kingdom. On October 17, 1970, the two outward spans collapsed when the seventh set of legs from the shore failed during a routine insurance load test. After a protracted series of considerations a trust was ...

Auckland Travel Guide, Clevedon Scenic Reserve We had lots of rain in September, it was a cloudy morning we went to Auckland Clevedon Scenic Reserve, but later it started to rain. It was cool filming in the rain, we had a lot of fun! The following information is a copy from Auckland council website regarding Kauri dieback disease. In this video, Phillip also shows how to clean the shoes before entering the bush. "Clevedon Scenic Reserve is currently free from Kauri dieback disease. Please protect the kauri in this reserve by: keeping to the track and off kauri roots keeping your dog on a lead cleaning your shoes on entry and exit to the reserve (Trigene is supplied on site)." The Background music is played by my son Phillip's own piece Phillip 4th composition, please see the link b...

"We stock the very best New Zealand has to offer!"
At our trip to the Auckland Clevedon Scenic Reserve, we went to the 1 hour bushwalk. Immediately, my son thought that this was bad idea. he was wearing his jeans, which didn't provide a lot of mobility! It was windy. Unfortunately we did not go to the top of the hill, and turned back on the halfway. We will come back again! our favourite part of our trip to the Clevedon Scenic Reserve was our encounter with a very playful and friendly German shepherd dog . We met at a small waterfall and suddenly, she trotted along and played with my son. All the videos are free to watch. If you like my videos, please subscribe for more videos. Did you see her face?
It's not a war.
Or could you taste the tears?
There's so much more.
Or maybe you smelt the fear.
Can you show me how to forgive and let go?
We felt it smash her cheek.
It kissed us through the walls.
Splinters haunting my memory.
Better off alone.
She did it all for you.
So how could you forget,
When you gave us so much to remember?
She did it all for you.
Shatter my dreams for me.
She did everything for you.
Did you see her face?
Or could you taste the tears?
There's so much more.
He waits for me on 5th east.
We can sleep on the floor.
Tried not to crush the leaves,
Like we did the day before.
Two hands, four paws.
