U.S. Route 95 (US 95) is a north–south U.S. highway in the western United States. Unlike many other US highways, it has not seen deletion or replacement on most of its length by an encroaching Interstate highway corridor, due to its mostly rural course. Because of this, it still travels from border to border and is a primary north–south highway in both Nevada and Idaho. This is one of the only US Routes or Interstate highways to cross from Mexico to Canada.
As of 2010, the highway's southern terminus is in San Luis, Arizona, on the Mexico–United States border, where Calle 1, a short spur leads to Mexican Federal Highway 2 in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora. Its northern terminus is in Boundary County, Idaho, at the Canada–United States border in Eastport, Idaho, where it continues north as British Columbia Highway 95.
US 95 begins in the United States at the border with Mexico at Mexico's Federal Route 2. It then follows the Colorado River northward to San Luis and on to Yuma, where it goes through town and crosses I-8. As it leaves Yuma, US 95 is an undivided two-lane highway which passes through the U.S. Army's Yuma Proving Ground.

This video features US-95 in far Eastern Oregon, which is one of the most desolate stretches of road in the United States. We even cross a time zone in this video! Drove from Las Vegas, NV to Reno, NV along the US-95. Sped up 4x to shorten video. Drove through Indian Springs, Beatty, Goldfield, Tonopah, Hawthorne, Walker Lake, Fallon, Fernley, and Sparks.
U.S. Route 95 enters Nevada near Cal-Nev-Ari in Clark County and heads north towards Railroad Pass, where it meets US 93. The two routes are then cosigned in the Las Vegas area and east of Henderson, Interstate 515 begins. I-515 is cosigned with US 93/95 for its entire route around eastern Las Vegas. The freeway then heads west into downtown Las Vegas, where it intersects Interstate 15. At the Spaghetti Bowl interchange, US 93 follows I-15 northbound and I-515 ends. US 95 heads west, then north at the Rainbow Curve. The freeway portion then ends and then it becomes a brief four-lane divided highway. US 95 exits Clark County and heads into eastern Nye County for 107 miles.
This video covers a stretch of US-95 in Las Vegas. Featured are the views of the Northwest suburbs, a modern (and still expanding) freeway, and more. Built in 1917, it carried US 95 traffic for 60 years, around 64 curves, gaining 1,800 feet in 7 miles. This video shows you how to find it, and what you'll see as you spin around the spiral curves to the top.
