Alex Paul
HIDDEN ERROR: Usage of "birthdate" is not recognized
Alex Paul is an Indian music director mostly active in Malayalam cinema. The songs from Classmates especially "Ente Khalbile Vennilavu Nee" and "Kaattadi thanalum" made him a well-known composer in 2006.
Personal life
Alex is the son of A. M. Paul, a music artist who formed the first orchestra (in Malayalam: 'ganamela') troupe in Kochi & Philomina. His elder brother is Lal, of the Siddique-Lal fame, and it was on Lal's film Chathikkatha Chanthu (2004) that Alex debuted as musical director.
Career
He graduated and Post graduated in from R.L.V. College,Thrippunithura. He learnt musical instruments from Kalabhavan, Kochi. He started his own studio, where he composed music for several music albums and for TV serials. Alex made his film debut as music director with Rafi Mecartin's Chathikkatha Chanthu. At the age of 20, he started a music institute named, TUNE OF HEARTS. When he was 29, he started a recording studio. On 14 October 2013, he started music technology institute, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF MUSIC TECHNOLOGY(NIMT). NIMT is recorded as the first ever "music technology" institute in India.

Venu Nagavally
Venu Nagavally (Malayalam: വേണു നാഗവള്ളി) (16 April 1949 – 9 September 2010) was an Indian actor, screenwriter and director best known for his work in Malayalam cinema. Son of late writer, commentator, and broadcaster Nagavally R. S. Kurup, Venu has acted in about fifty films, directed films such as Sukhamo Devi (1986), Sarvakalashala (1987), Lal Salam (1989), and Aye Auto (1990), and scripted the commercially successful Kilukkam (1991).
Venu Nagavally died at Thiruvananthapuram on 9 September 2010. He is survived by his wife Meera and son Vivek.
Biography
Venu Nagavally was born on 16 April 1949 as the son of the noted play writer Nagavally R. S. Kurup and Rajamma. Ramachandran, Vasundara and Lalithambi are his siblings. He completed his education from Government Model Boys Higher Secondary School, Thiruvananthapuram and University College Trivandrum. He had a bachelor's degree in Politics and a Diploma in journalism.
Venu started his career as an announcer in Akasavani. He later sung a song in the movie Chottanikkara Amma (1976) but was noticed only in 1978 when he acted in the movie Ulkkadal directed by K. G. George, thus starting his acting career in movies. His noted movies as an actor are Shalini Ente Koottukari, Meenamasathile Sooryan, Pakshe, and Chillu.

It is amazing what O.N.V. Kurup could achieve in mere 12 lines. In those few lines, he painted a picture that fired your imagination. And he did that in over a thousand songs. Many of his songs are poems, much more than songs. Few in Indian cinema could bring in poetry so beautifully to a song.
